WHAT IS A GOOD SAMARITAN?
According to the Bible, it is when someone helps someone who is in trouble regardless of who they are. By trouble, it means those who are facing injustices in the world.
As people of God, we are made to love one another. Our intersubjectivity will be the reason for this.
Why? Because as intersubjectivity is defined, we are made to interact with others. It refers to the shared understanding and mutual recognition that individuals have with one another.
Kindness and compassion should have no bounds, and one should be ready to lend a hand to anybody in need, regardless of background, race, or economic status. This aligns with the idea of intersubjectivity, as it encourages people to recognize the shared humanity and interconnectedness that binds us together.
Seeking out opportunities to help others—especially those who are experiencing injustice or hardship—is an essential part of being a good samaritan. It expresses the belief that kind acts make the world a more compassionate and just place to live, and that everyone deserves compassion and assistance.
Being a good Samaritan urges us to put aside our differences and lend a helping hand to those who might be in need in a world where strangers exist. It inspires us to create empathy and understanding bridges, promoting a feeling of belonging and connectivity that goes beyond the lines that frequently separate us.
