Glory to God for the recently concluded Sportsfest 2026, held last May 1, 2026, at the Margal Sports Center, graciously hosted by our sending church, Metrolight Gospel Baptist Church in Bustos, Bulacan.

We are thankful for the opportunity to fellowship with the members of MGBC and to enjoy a joyful time together through various sports activities. Our sincere appreciation goes to Pastor Ramon Navarro Jr. and Bro. Sean Navarro for hosting and for inviting us to be part of this meaningful event.

We also thank the Lord for the dedication and effort of our team, the Fortress Lions, who gave their best in every category.

To God be all the highest glory!

Praise God for a Year-Starter Retreat & Fellowship. It was a blessing to reconnect with one another, fulfilling our purpose of building stronger bonds as fellow servants of the Lord.

Pastor Saavedra preached about “Deeper Foundation”, emphasizing the value of God in the lives of the youth. Following Ecclesiastes 12:1, we are committed to remembering God early, rooting our lives deeply in Him, and staying faithful to avoid future regrets.

The 🧬DNA of a Fortress Knight is our biblical standard for living:
1. Devoted to God
2. Disciplined in Life
3. Dedicated to Others
4. Distinct in Character

Our delegates were blessed to attend the B.I.B.L.E. this year hosted by Berean Youth Contenders, entitled “Borderless Faith” with the theme verse from 2 Cor. 10:16. We were greatly challenged from the message through the speakers, and enjoyed the sweet fellowship with God’s wonderful people.

The battle was real, but so was the breakthrough. As we give thanks for the triumph of our BYS 2025, we acknowledge the One who leads us to victory– the Lord Jesus Christ. Thankful also for our Pastor, whose leadership, prayer, and unwavering faith carried us through.
