‎As 𝗦𝘁. 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝗶 reminds us, creation is a gift from our loving Creator. We are called to see all creatures as our brothers and sisters and to care for them with love and respect.

TINGNAN | 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶 𝘀𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗱 𝗻𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗸𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗿𝗲!

Noong nakaraang Oktubre 4, Unang Linggo ng Buwan, ginanap ang isang natatanging pagdiriwang ng Banal na Misa sa ganap na 10:00 am na pinamunuan ni Reb P. Jonathan Haniel.

Bago matapos ang Misa, kanyang ipinagkaloob ang pagbabasbas sa lahat ng mga may kaarawan ngayong buwan bilang tanda ng pasasalamat at panalangin para sa panibagong taon ng kanilang buhay.

Isang magandang alaala na simulan ang buwan ng kaarawan sa pamamagitan ng panalangin, pagpapala, at pagkakaisa bilang isang pamayanan ng pananampalataya.

‎Here are some moments captured during the celebration of the Holy Mass for the 27𝘵𝘩 𝘚𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘖𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘦, held on October 4, 2026, and presided over by Rev. Fr. Jonathan Haniel.

‎Following the Holy Mass, the parish held the Blessing of the Animals in celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, honoring his love and care for all of God’s creation.
‎
‎May we continue to care for and cherish every living creature as a precious gift from God.

Ngayong papalapit tayo nang papalapit sa Araw ng Undas, ating alalahanin at ipanalangin ang mga kaluluwa ng ating mga yumaong mahal sa buhay sa pamamagitan ng pag-aalay at pagtitirik ng kandila para sa kanila.

👥 Ang bawat kandila ay para sa 𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝘆𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗼.

Ang bawat kandila ay magsisilbing alay at panalangin para sa ating mga yumaong mahal sa buhay at isasama sa Nobena-Misa para sa mga Patay na magsisimula sa Nobyembre 1 hanggang Nobyembre 9.

Ihandog natin ang liwanag ng kandila bilang tanda ng ating pagmamahal, pag-alala, at patuloy na pananalangin para sa kanila.

St. Faustina Kowalska
October 5 | Memorial

Born in 1905 in Głogowiec, Poland, she dedicated her brief life to Christ in the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy. Receiving her vocation of announcing the loving mercy of God, she left a testimony of her mystical experience in the Diary of her soul. She undertook the work of announcing and imploring Divine Mercy throughout the whole world. She died at Krakow in the year 1938.

St. Francis of Assisi
October 4 | Memorial

The story and history of SAINT FRANCIS of ASSISI. Saint Francis, the son of a merchant of Assisi, was born in that city in 1182. Chosen by God to be a living manifestation to the world of Christ’s poor and suffering life on earth, he was early inspired with a high esteem and burning love of poverty and humiliation. The thought of the Man of Sorrows, who had not where to lay his head, filled him with holy envy of the poor, and constrained him to renounce the wealth and worldly station which he abhorred. The scorn and hard usage which he met with from his father and townsmen when he appeared among them in the garb of poverty were delightful to him. “Now,” he exclaimed, “I can say truly, ‘Our Father who art in heaven.’” But divine love burned in him too mightily not to kindle like desires in other hearts. Many joined themselves to him, and were constituted by Pope Innocent III into a Religious Order, which spread rapidly throughout Christendom. Saint Francis, after visiting the East in the vain quest of martyrdom, spent his life like his Divine Master—now in preaching to the multitudes, now amid desert solitudes in fasting and contemplation. During one of these retreats he received on his hands, feet, and side the print of the five bleeding wounds of Jesus. With the cry, “Welcome, sister Death,” he passed to the glory of his God October 4, 1226.

The Holy Guardian Angels
October 2 | Memorial

The concept of an angel assigned to guide and nurture each human being is a development of Catholic doctrine and piety based on Scripture but not directly drawn from it. Jesus’ words in Matthew 18:10 best support the belief: “See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father”

Devotion to the angels began to develop with the birth of the monastic tradition. Saint Benedict (July 11) gave it impetus and Saint Bernard of Clairvaux (August 20), the great 12th-century reformer, was such an eloquent spokesman for the guardian angels that angelic devotion assumed its current form in his day.

St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus

"I prefer the monotony of obscure sacrifice to all ecstasies. To pick up a pin for love can convert a soul." These are the words of TERESE OF THE CHILD JESUS, a Carmelite nun called the "Little Flower," who lived a cloistered life of obscurity in the convent of Lisieux, France. [In French-speaking areas, she is known as Thérèse of Lisieux.] And her preference for hidden sacrifice did indeed convert souls. Few saints of God are more popular than this young nun. Her autobiography, The Story of a Soul, is read and loved throughout the world. Thérèse Martin entered the convent at the age of 15 and died in 1897 at the age of 24.
