HOPCC Music Ministry Join our community. Experience His presence in worship, and spread the message of love and faith. We are the music ministers.

We yield to God's call to lead His people and be instrumental to the worship of the congregation in bringing glory to the Lord God Almighty. This ministry ultimately helps the church fulfill her God-given vision, “to help people from our diverse community grow in their relationship with Christ and with each other.”

Waiting for Jesus isn’t passive. It’s a call to faithful living.

WATCHFUL WHILE WE WAIT
Sunday Message Recap | Luke 12:35-41

Jesus reminds us in Luke 12:35–41 that His return is certain, even though we do not know when it will happen.

As His servants, we are called not simply to wait, but to wait watchfully. To stay close to God through prayer, remain spiritually discerning, and persevere in faith.

While we wait for our Master, let us keep serving, keep trusting, and keep using everything God has entrusted to us for His glory.

We may not know when He will return, but we know He will come. May the Holy Spirit keep our hearts awake, expectant, and faithful until that day.

Stay watchful. Stay faithful. Keep serving.

Our waiting is not wasted when we are waiting for Christ.

“So always be ready. You don’t know the day or the time when the Son of Man will come.” - Matthew 25:13

Wala Kang katulad, O Diyos. Wala nang hihigit sa Iyo!

Last Sunday, we were reminded through God’s Word in Luke 14:1–14 that true greatness is not about recognition, position, or being noticed. It’s about having a humble heart and a kind life.

Jesus reminds us to take the humble place rather than seeking to elevate ourselves. He also challenges us to extend kindness not only to those who can repay us, but especially to those who cannot.

Humility is expressed through servanthood.

We humble ourselves when we choose to serve rather than be served, to lift others rather than seek to be lifted, and to put others before ourselves.

Our blessings are measured through kindness.

What God has graciously given us is never meant to stop with us. We are blessed so that we can be a blessing to others. We do this by giving, serving, and loving without expecting anything in return.

May we live with a heart that does not need recognition and a kindness that does not require repayment.

Be humble. Be kind. Serve faithfully. Love generously.

Because in God’s kingdom, the greatest are not those who sit at the highest table, but those who humbly make room for others.

Our worship belongs to You, Lord. 🙌

May every song, every heart, and every life declare that You alone are worthy, and that You alone be exalted.

To Jesus be all the glory, forever and ever.

There is only one name above every name—the name of Jesus. 🙌❤

"Yours is the Name, the Name that has saved me
Mercy and grace, the power that forgave me
And Your love is all I've ever needed."

May our lives, our worship, and everything we do bring glory to You, Lord!

WHEN DOING GOOD BRINGS SUFFERING

“But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed.” — 1 Peter 3:14

Doing what is good and right does not always mean life will be easy. Sometimes, obedience brings misunderstanding, rejection, or suffering. But in 1 Peter 3:13–18, Peter teaches us how to remain faithful when doing good becomes difficult.

Have the right perspective.
Suffering for doing what is right does not mean God has abandoned you. You are blessed because you are walking in obedience to Him.

Have the right response.
Do not repay opposition with fear, anger, or hatred. Instead, continue doing what is right and be ready to give an answer for the hope you have in Christ.

Have the right attitude.
Do not be controlled by fear. Instead, “in your hearts revere Christ as Lord” (v. 15). Let Christ be greater than the pressure you are facing.

Have the right model—Jesus.
Christ, the Righteous One, suffered for the unrighteous to bring us to God. He showed us that faithfulness is worth the cost.

So, when you are faithful through the fire, remember:
See your suffering through the right perspective. Respond with the right heart. Maintain the right attitude. And follow the right example—Jesus.

Keep doing good. Keep standing firm. Keep trusting God.

The fire may test your faith, but it does not have to change your faithfulness.

Through every season, we can look back and say, Lord, You’ve been so good. 🙏

For every blessing, every answered prayer, and even in the moments we didn’t understand—His goodness and faithfulness never fail.

Thank You, Lord, for loving us. We are forever grateful. ❤
