TOPIC: Seeking God's Wisdom

TEXT: James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him.

MESSAGE: We live in a world that is full of information and knowledge, but sometimes it can be hard to know what is true and what is not. We face many daily decisions, some of which can have far-reaching consequences. It is easy to feel overwhelmed and uncertainty about what to do.

The good news is that we have a loving God who wants to help us. James 1:5, we are encouraged to ask God for wisdom, and He promises to give it to us generously, without reproach.

Often, we may think that we have everything figured out and that we don't need anyone's help. We may rely on our own understanding, thinking that we are smart enough to make the right choices. However, this approach can lead us down the wrong path, causing us to make mistakes that can have serious consequences.

In contrast, when we seek God's wisdom, we open ourselves up to His guidance and direction. We acknowledge that we are not all-knowing and that we need His help. When we come to God with humility and a willingness to listen, He can speak to us through His Word, through other people, and through the Holy Spirit.

The quest for God's wisdom, is not just about making good decisions, it is also about growing closer to God. As we seek His wisdom, we deepen our relationship with Him and learn more about His character and ways. It is a journey of faith and trust, as we surrender our own disires and lean on Him completely.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You that You are a God who gives wisdom generously to those who ask. Help us to have the humility in all areas of our lives. Give us discernment to know right from wrong and the courage to follow Your ways. May our request for wisdom draw us closer to You and help us to reflect Your love and grace to those around us. In Jesus' name. Amen

Wishing everyone of us together with our family a glorious new day in Jesus' name. Amen

TOPIC: God Hears the Prayers of the Righteous

TEXT: Proverbs 15:29 The LORD is far the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

MESSAGE: As we go about our daily lives, we often face challenges and difficulties that can leave us feeling helpless and alone. It's easy to feel like no one is listening, like our prayers are just empty words spoken into the void. But as Proverbs 15:29 reminds us God hears the prayers of the righteous.

Being righteous doesn't mean being perfect. We all make mistakes and fall short of God's standards. But it does mean striving to live according to His will, seeking to do what is right and good in His eyes. When we come before Him with a sincere heart, He promise to hear us.

It's not always easy to trust in this promise, especially when our prayers seem to go unanswered or when life feels overwhelmingly difficult. But the Bible is full of examples of those who were faithful and persistent in prayer, even when it seemed like God wasn't listening. And time and time again, He showed Himself faithful and true.

So today, let's hold fast to the promise that God hears the prayers of the righteous. Let's approach Him with confidence and boldness, knowing that He delights in hearing from His children. And let's trust that in His perfect timing and wisdom, He will answer us according to His will.

PRAYERS: Dear God, thank You for Your promise to hear the prayers of the righteous. Help us to trust in faithfulness and to come before You with sincerity and humility. Strengthen us in our faith, and help us to abide in Your will day by day. We pray that our prayers would answer them according to Your good and perfect plan. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Wishing everyone of us together with our family a glorious new day in Jesus' name. Amen

TOPIC: Obeying God Over Men

TEXT: Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, we ought to obey God rather than men.

MESSAGE: As Christians, we know that our ultimate allegiance is to God. In Acts 5:29, Peter and the other apostles boldly stated, "We ought to obey God rather than men.

The declaration was a clear indication that their top priority was to follow God's will, even if it meant going against the orders of powerful government officials.

As we navigate through our daily lives, we may face situations where we are forced to choose between obeying man or God. Perhaps it's a workplace situation where we are asked to compromise our values or beliefs to meet a certain quota, or maybe it's a societal norm that goes against what we know to be true in our faith.

Whatever the scenario maybe, it's important to remember that our obedience to God should always come first. It may not be easy, and we may face consequences or backlash, but we can trust that God will honor our obedience and provide a way for us.

Let us take inspiration from the apostles and choose to obey God over man, trusting that His ways are higher than our own.

PRAYER: Dear God, help us to have the courage and conviction to obey you above all else. Give us discernment to know when we are being led astray by the ways of the world, and give us the strength to stand firm in our faith. May our obedience to you bring glory to your name and lead others to know you. In Jesus' name. Amen

Wishing everyone of us together with our family a victorious Sunday and a glorious new week in Jesus' name. Amen

TOPIC: The Importance of Confession and Forgiveness in Our Spiritual Journey

TEXT: Psalm 32:5 I acknowledged my sins unti thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgivest the iniquity of my sin.

MESSAGE: Psalm 32:5 provides a clear message about the importance of confession. It tells us that when we acknowledge our sins and confess them before the Lord, He forgives us. It is natural for us to try to hid our mistakes, but confessing our wrongdoing and asking for forgiveness is crucial for our spiritual well-being.

Confession is not just admitting our mistakes to God; it's also recognising and accepting responsibility for our actions. By confessing our sins, we take the first step towards true repentance and seek reconciliation with God.

It can be hard to confess our sins, particularly if we're afraid of judgement or punishment.

But Psalm 32:5 reminds us that God's mercy and forgiveness are available to us when we humble ourselves before Him.

We must learn to trust in His compassionate nature and find comfort in His words.

As we confess our sins to God, we should also be quick to forgive others. Holding grudges and harbouring resentment can weigh heavily on our hearts and damage our relationships. Instead, let's choose to extend grace and forgiveness to those who have wronged us, following God's example.

PRAYER: Dear God, I confess my sins before you today. I acknowledge the mistakes I've made and the times I've fallen short. I ask for Your forgiveness and Your guidance as I strive to live a life that honors You. Help me to cultivate a heart of humility and not be afraid to recognise my faults. I pray that I may extend the same forgiveness to others that you have given me, so that I may experience true peace and joy in You. In Jesus' name. Amen

Wishing everyone of us together with our family a victorious Midweek in Jesus' name l. Amen

TOPIC: Acknowledging Our Transgressions

TEXT: Ps. 53:3 for I acknowledge my transgressions; and my sin is ever before me.

MESSAGE: As Christians, we often fall into the trap of thinking that we are better than others because we have faith in God.
We may feel that our sins are minor and easily forgiven, while the sins of others are much greater and harder to forgive. But this is a dangerous mindset that can lead us away from God rather than towards him.

The truth is, we are all sinners. None of us is perfect. We all make mistakes and transgress against God's laws. But it is in acknowledging our transgressions and repenting of them that we can come closer to God and experience His boundless mercy and grace.

In Psalm 51, David writes "for I acknowledge my transgressions; and my sin is ever before me." David was a man after God's own heart, yet he still sinned. He committed adultery with Bathsheba and had her husband Uriah killed. But when Nathan the prophet confronted him about his sin, David acknowledged it and repented. He cried out to God, "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."

Like David, we too must acknowledge our transgressions and seek God's forgiveness. We cannot hide our sins from God nor can we justify them. We must take responsibility for our actions, confess our sins, and turn away from them. Only then can we experience true freedom and joy in our relationship with God.

Let us not be arrogant or self-righteous in our faith. Let us remember that we are all sinners in need of God's grace. May we be humble, repentant, and always seeking God's forgiveness.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, we acknowledge our transgressions and sins before You. We have fallen short of Your glory and have disobeyed Your commands. We ask for Your forgiveness and mercy. Create in us a clean hearts, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. May we never forget our need for Your grace and may we always seek to live in a way that honors You. In Jesus' name. Amen

Wishing everyone of us together with our family a victorious new Midweek in Jesus' name. Amen

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY: Proverbs 18:24 One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

MESSAGE: Who are your closet friends? Good friends are hard to come by in a world of superficial acquaintances and shallow relationships. "Hanging with the crowd" can give us a false sense of belonging, but often leaves us wounded and alone in times of trouble. Open, honest, supportive, and loving relationships don't happen without investment. Ask the Lord to lead you to close friends in his family. Minister to and serve those around you. Listen to their requests, faithfully upholding them in Christian service with other servant believers. Join yourself to Bible study or accountability group. As you do, trust that God will give you that "stick- through - thick -and thin - friend." Companions are easy to find, but can be unreliable. Development of Christian friends is an investment of effort and time, but they are friends with whom we will share forever.

PRAYERS: Heavenly Father, thank you for another privileged you have made for me to see today, thank you for all you have done yesterday and for all you will be doing for us today and may your name forever remain glorified in Jesus' name. Amen

Bless all those who read Today's Verse with a Christian friend that will help them in their walk with you. Thank you so much dear Father, for my greatest friend, Jesus' whose name I pray. Amen

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY: Ephesians 4:15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

MESSAGE: Truthful words are accurate Words spoken in love can be a blessing. But the truth spoken in love is redemptive: this kind of speech blesses those who hear it and matures those who speak it. While speaking the truth in love is often not easy, it's worth it! Look at God and see how painful it was to speak his Word in love by sending Jesus. But in the process of that one sacrificial word, he has Saved us and revealed his heart of grace, mercy, and love.

PRAYERS: Thank you heavenly Father, for all you have done for us yesterday and thank you for all you will be doing today for us. And may your name remain forever glorified in Jesus' name. Amen

Heavenly Father, have mercy on us and forgive all our unrighteousness we may have committed yesterday that may hinder your glory over us today in Jesus' name. Amen

Holy God, may the words I speak be truthful and loving. Please forgive me when I have told the "painful truth" to win arguments, to hurt feelings, or to impress others. Please forgive me for the times I exaggerated, distorted, or lied. I want my words to be simple and tender, truthful and loving. I want others to see your grace in the way I speak to them. In the name of my Saviour, Jesus, I pray. Amen

Heavenly Father, I pray that you continue to release your healing virtues upon every sick person around the world for their speedy recovery in Jesus' name. Amen

Heavenly Father, I pray that you continue to prosper and bless all my helpers around the world together with their families in Jesus' name. Amen

Heavenly Father, continue to frustrate every evil plan of the wicked against our victory and favour this year in Jesus' name. Amen

Thank Father God for answering my prayers again today in Jesus' name I pray. Amen

Think of all the different ways he has blessed us – some financially, others with great opportunities for service, others with deep personal relationship that are eternal, and for all of us, the promise of life with him. MESSAGE: Being disappointed and dissatisfied with life can be caused by a myriad of things. But for many of us, these are symptoms that we have focused too much on ourselves and are angry with life. We have forgotten to count our blessings, neglected giving thanks to God, become silent in our praise to our Father, and have quit helping those around is how Christ lived. SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY: Galatians 6:1 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.

MESSAGE: In a day when intervening in someone's life is no longer politically and socially correct, these verses rings out like a gunshot on a still night. Sin is still real and is just as deadly as ever. Yet because we fear being branded judgmental and self-righteous, we let many who are trapped by sin go to their spiritual death. The call is for nonjudgmental intervention – we recognize the gravity of the sin and the need of the sinner, without feeling arrogant in our righteousness. "There but for the grace of God go I."

PRAYER: Father, forgive my son's as I forgive those who have sinned against me. But Father, also help my heart to be stirred into action to help those whom it has trapped. Through Jesus, who came to rescue me from my sin, I pray πŸ™

Father, I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, that you release your healing virtue over all the sick people around the world for their speedy recovery πŸ™
