During the 2nd Service, JIL PUP was privileged to have Ptr. Jake Esperanza, Provincial Pastor of JIL Saskatoon and JIL Pastor of Saskatchewan, as the Guest Speaker.

Ptr. Jake shared that the will of God is always good, always pleasing and always perfect. Understanding it gives focus, strength, meaning, and joy for living.

Acknowledging both the general and specific will of God requires the strengthening of basic steps toward God. Let us always go back to how we first loved God, first laid our life before Him, and first accepted His calling upon us.

Commune with God and let Him speak to you personally as you obey God’s commands. This is a reminder to stay in God's presence—follow and obey Him. To find God's will, you must first find God.

JIL PUP was privileged to have Sis. Joy Vega Daen of JIL Temecula, California and MIS Officer of West Operation, as the Guest Speaker during the 1st Service today.

In her message, Sis. Joy shared that sometimes people feel like God’s presence is nowhere near. Especially in the lowest points of life, when one is most vulnerable to pain, anxiety, deception, and many other struggles, it is important to remember that God’s power is never limited by anything in this world.

Our God is not a limited God. He can do more than what anyone can think or imagine. He knows even the deepest prayers and desires of every heart. (Ephesians 3:20)

Through her message, Sis. Joy reminded us to strengthen every heart to trust God more and experience His breakthrough joy that strengthens.

Our heart symbolizes our innermost thoughts and feelings, where our intentions and motivations start.

Let us not be like the Pharisee in Luke 18:9-14, whose heart is filled with pride, and received nothing. But be like the Tax Collector who prays a simple prayer and bows his head in humility—and he received the answers to his prayer.

"Give me your heart, Lord" (Proverbs 23:26) is an invitation to an open and sincere relationship. Today, let us ask God to give us the right heart so we can recognize His goodness and grace.

Grandparents are one of the first people who loved, taught, and cared for us. To them, our every step matters, it is what brings them joy and fulfilment. They also carry many stories that made us laugh and guide us at the same time.

So, may we not just remember our grandparents, let us honor them.

To those who are of old age, remember God's everlasting covenant for all of us and always be faithful, fruitful, and thankful in everything.

"I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age." (Isaiah 46:4)

The Lord desires genuine goodness that starts within your heart. Goodness will only be evident when transformation happens, something that only God can give.

This is a call to surrender and recognize our need for Christ. As we surrender our lives to Him, the less we will depend on ourselves, and the more His goodness will be revealed.

Storms are unexpected, but never permanent—it is only temporary. As the disciples showed fear over faith in the middle of the storm, Jesus manifested His power—He stilled the raging storm, and the waves obeyed. (Mark 4:39)

Jesus is Lord over every creation in mankind, there is nothing too hard or impossible through Him.

Today, may you take this moment to allow God to intervene in the storms of your life. Let your faith be bigger than your fears.
