We just watched "David," an animated film… and honestly, hindi lang siya movie—isa sya sa salamin ng buhay natin. Nakakatuwang isipin na si David, someone na overlooked, underestimated, and minsan hindi pinapansin pero siya pa yung ginamit for something greater. Parang tayo rin minsan, diba? Feeling natin maliit lang tayo, kulang, hindi enough.
Pero that one powerful scene—when David stood in front of Goliath—hindi lang siya laban ng lakas, kundi laban ng faith. Imagine the fear, the doubt, the pressure pero pinili niyang maniwala kaysa umatras. And that hit deep. Kasi how many times have we faced our own “giants?” Yung insecurities, failures, overthinking, fear of not being enough pero instead na lumaban, we shrink ourselves.
This film reminded us that courage is not about being fearless—it’s about choosing to stand kahit natatakot ka. Kahit kabataan pa lang tayo, kahit feeling natin hindi pa tayo ready, God can still use us in the most unexpected ways. Hindi requirement na perfect ka—ang kailangan lang is willing ka.
This movie makes us realize na maybe you’re not overlooked, you’re just being prepared. Maybe you’re not “too small,” you’re exactly where you need to be for God to move in your life.
So to every young person out there—lumaban ka. Harapin mo yung giants mo. Kahit mahirap, kahit nakakatakot, kahit feeling mo mag-isa ka. Because just like David, your faith can bring you to places you never thought you could reach.
You are chosen. You are called. And your story is just beginning.
