Today, we will be reminded that our hope does not rest on the strength of our faithfulness, but on the unchanging faithfulness of our God.

Come as you are. Bring your burdens, your questions, your weaknesses, and even your failures. Let us gather around God’s Word and be reminded of this precious truth that is God remains faithful, even when we are not.

The man of God stands apart from a godless world by faithfully pursuing godliness, fighting the good fight of faith, and fixing his hope on the coming King.

This Lord’s Day, let us gather once again as the people of God to worship Him, hear His Word, and be strengthened in our faith. In a world that continues to drift away from God, believers are called not to blend in with the godless culture around us, but to faithfully pursue Christ, stand firm in the truth, and live as men and women who belong to God.

Standing firm is not simply about holding our ground when life becomes difficult. It is about remaining rooted in the truth of the Gospel, strengthened by the grace of God, and faithful to Christ while we wait for His return.

The world may change. Circumstances may shake us. Trials may test us. Even our own hearts may grow weary. But the Christian is called to stand because our salvation rests not on the strength of our grip, but on the faithfulness of the God who called, loved, and established us.

So as we wait for Christ to come again, let us stand firm in what we have received, stand firm in the grace that has saved us, and stand firm in the hope that He will surely return. Not running away. Not giving up. Not being moved.

Until He comes, stand.
