Today, we were reminded from 1 Samuel 4:1–10 that victory is not found in our own plans, strategies, or religious activities—it comes from seeking God and remaining in His presence.

Israel experienced defeat because they did not inquire of the Lord. Instead, they chose their own solution and brought the Ark of the Covenant into battle, thinking its presence would guarantee victory. But they were relying on the symbol of God’s presence rather than truly seeking God Himself.

May we never confuse serving God with intimacy with God. Our ministry should be the overflow of our relationship with Him.

Instead of praying, “Lord, bless my plan,” may we learn to pray, “Lord, let me follow Your plan.”

Don’t seek the blessing—seek the Blesser.
Don’t seek your own will—seek His presence.

“If Your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.” — Exodus 33:15

Because His presence is greater than any blessing, victory, or answer we could ever receive. 🤍

Today, we were reminded that we may not know what tomorrow will bring, but we know Who holds our tomorrow—Jesus. ❤️

Maybe your worst situation is God’s best opportunity to work. Your story is not yet finished—He is still writing it. Nothing can separate us from His love, so let us surrender our past, present, and future to Him. His plans are perfect, and He can turn our pain into something beautiful.

Whatever season you are in, keep trusting. God is not done with your story yet. 🤍
