REMAIN FAITHFUL UNTIL THE END
Text: 2 Timothy 2:3-4, 11-13

■ A faithful solider endures hardship
v.3 Share in suffering as a good soldier of Chirst Jesus.
■ A faithful soldier stays focuses
v.4 No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits.
■ A faithful solider seeks to please his commander.
..since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him.

OUR FAITHFULNESS DOES NOT BEGIN WITH US
OUR FAITHFULNESS BEGINS WITH GOD'S FAITHFULNESS.

I. FAITHFUL IN REDEMPTION
God is faithful to give us life in Christ Jesus.

v11 The saying is trustworthy, for if we have died with Him, we will also live with Him

Ephesians 2:5-6
Romans 6:3-4

■ We serve because, in Christ, God has already accepted us.
■ We disciple beacuse, God has already made us His children.
■ We work because, Christ has accomplished our salvation

II. FAITHFUL IN REWARD
God is faithful to reward those who endure in Christ.

2 Timothy 2:11-13
If we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He also will deny us;

III.FAITHFUL IN REASSURANCE
God remains faithful even when our faith is weak...for He cannot deny Himself.

"God is faithful because faithfulness is consistent with who He is."

Text: JEREMIAH 29:7

But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent yout into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.

What would happen to our community if our church disappeared tomorrow?

Mapapansin ba ng mga tao sa paligid natin na nawala tayo?

"Don't just be a church in the community.
Be a church for the community."

I. SEEK THE GOOD

■ We were supposed to actively pursue the good of our community

■ Because God has placed us here

How can we contribute to the overall good of our community?

II PRAY FOR THE COMMUNITY

"We serve with our hands, but we pray with our hearts."

■ We are called ro seek the good even of people who are different from us.

■ Because we are called to reflect God's character

III. LIVE FOR ITS FLOURISHING

■ We have the gospel of Jesus Christ.

MATTHEW 5:13-16

■ SHOW UP (be present in the community)
■ STAND OUT
■ SHINE

"We make a difference because we belong to the One who is the hope of the world."
