Always trust God no matter what.

May mga pagkakataong ang ipinagpipilitan nating "Yes" ay hindi pala magdadala sa atin sa pinakamabuti.

Kaya ang “No" ng Diyos ay hindi para hadlangan tayo, kundi para i-lead tayo sa Kanyang perfect will.

Kaya kung may panalangin kang hindi nasagot sa paraang inaasahan mo, don't lose heart.

Trust God's purpose over your plans.

Dahil balang araw, maiintindihan mo rin na ang ilan sa pinakamalalaking blessings mo ay nagsimula sa isang "No" ng Diyos.

Hindi laging tugma ang plano natin sa purpose Niya. Pero laging mas maganda ang purpose ng Diyos kaysa sa plano natin.

Kung Sumagot ang Diyos ng "No," Salamat Pa Rin.
Because God knows best.

"Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." — Proverbs 19:21

God never promised an easy race.
But He calls us to remain faithful until the finish line.

One of the sermon illustrations that has stayed with me through the years is the story of John Stephen Akhwari.

During the 1968 Olympics, he was competing in the marathon when he suffered a terrible fall. His knee was badly injured, his shoulder was hurt, and every step became painful.

By the time he reached the stadium, the race was already over. The winners had celebrated. Most of the crowd had already gone home.

But there he was...

Still running.

Still limping.

Still determined to cross the finish line.

When someone asked him why he didn't just quit, his answer became one of the most memorable quotes in sports history:

“My country did not send me 5,000 miles to start the race. They sent me 5,000 miles to finish it."

Every time I hear that story, I can't help but think of the Christian life.

Hindi ba parang ganito rin ang buhay Kristiyano?

Madaling sumunod kay Lord kapag maayos ang lahat.

Kapag answered ang prayers.
Kapag healthy ang pamilya.
Kapag sunod-sunod ang blessings.
Kapag parang ramdam na ramdam mo ang presensya ng Diyos.

Pero paano kapag dumating ang mga araw na...
may crisis?
may heartbreak?
may pagkawala?
may betrayal?
may unanswered prayers?
o may season na parang tahimik ang Diyos?

Tatakbo ka pa rin ba?

The Christian life is not a sprint.

It's a marathon.

There will be days when you run with strength.
And there will be days when all you can do is limp.

Pero alam n'yo, hindi tayo tinawag ng Diyos para maging pinakamabilis.

Tinawag Niya tayong maging tapat.

Kaya ang sabi ni Pablo sa 2 Timothy 4:7, hindi niya ipinagmalaki ang dami ng nagawa niya o kung gaano siya kabilis. Ang sinabi niya lang,
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."

At sana, iyon din ang maging kwento ng bawat isa sa atin.

Hindi man tayo ang pinakamabilis.
Hindi man tayo ang pinakakilala.

Pero pagdating sa dulo ng ating takbuhin, masabi rin natin
"Lord, hindi naging madali ang laban... pero sa biyaya Mo, natapos ko ang race at nanatili akong tapat sa Iyo."

Dahil sa huli, God is not looking for the fastest runners.

He's looking for faithful finishers.

How majestic our God is! 💖

✨ Did You Know?
According to modern astronomical research using observations from the Hubble Space Telescope, scientists estimate that the observable universe may contain around 200 billion to 2 trillion galaxies. One influential study by Professor Christopher Conselice and his team from the University of Nottingham (2016) suggests there could be around 2 trillion galaxies. If an average galaxy contains about 100 billion stars, then the observable universe may contain approximately 200 sextillion stars...
200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars.

Just imagine that.🤯

If you counted one star every second, it would take you over 6 quadrillion years to count them all yet the observable universe is estimated to be only 13.8 billion years old.😱🤯

And yet, thousands of years before telescopes existed, David looked up at the night sky, filled with countless stars, and asked:

“What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You care for him?" Psalm 8:4

David stood in awe of God's creation.

Today, science has only shown us that the universe is even more vast than David could have imagined.

And yet...
God's Word still declares that He is mindful of you.
The God who knows every star by name (Psalm 147:4) also knows your name.

Ang Diyos na lumikha ng hindi mabilang na mga bituin ay Siya ring Diyos na nakakakilala sa pangalan mo.
Alam Niya ang bawat luha na hindi mo ipinapakita.
Alam Niya ang mga panalanging tahimik mong ibinubulong.
Alam Niya ang mga laban na hindi alam ng iba.
Alam Niya ang mga pangarap na matagal mo nang ipinagdarasal.

Hindi ka maliit sa paningin ng Diyos.
Hindi ka nakalimutan.
At hindi ka kailanman nawala sa Kanyang isipan.

The God who placed every star in the sky...
The God who knows every grain of sand...
The God who rules over the universe...
Knows your name. 💛

Just. Imagine. That.

The same God who sustains the galaxies...
The same God who calls every star by name...
The same God who rules over the entire universe...
cares deeply for you.

So whatever you're carrying today, don't lose heart.
Your prayers are not forgotten.
Your tears are not unseen.
Your life is not insignificant.

The greatness of the universe doesn't make you less important it makes God's love for you even more astonishing.

Therefore, put your trust in Him always. In all ways.

Thank You, Lord, for meeting us in our homes and in our hearts tonight. Every prayer lifted, every testimony shared, and every word spoken draws us closer to You.

What a joy to celebrate another year of God's faithfulness in the life of our beloved Administrative Pastor.
Happy 60th Birthday, Pastor! Thank you for leading with humility, serving with love, and pointing us continually to Jesus. May the Lord continue to bless you with strength, wisdom, and overflowing joy.

Part 1

Sometimes faith doesn't look like having all the answers. Sometimes it simply looks like reaching for the hem of His garment, believing that Jesus is enough.

Just like the woman who reached for the hem of Jesus' garment in faith, I, too, choose to reach for Him not because I have all the answers, but because He is the Answer.

Mark 5:27–28 (ESV)
"She had heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment. For she said, 'If I touch even his garments, I will be made well.'"

When life leaves me with nothing else to hold on to, I'll hold on to His promises.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1

Sa gitna ng lahat ng uncertainty, one thing remains certain God's character never changes.

Happy blessed 60th birthday, Pastor! 🥳🎂

Today, we celebrate not only another year that God has added to your life but also the many years you have faithfully devoted to serving Him and His people.

Maraming salamat po sa inyong buhay sa inyong pagmamahal sa Panginoon, sa inyong pagiging tapat sa ministeryo, at sa inyong pagiging mabuting halimbawa ng pananampalataya, kababaang-loob, at paglilingkod. Ang inyong buhay ay tunay na patunay na ang biyaya ng Diyos ay sapat at tapat sa bawat yugto ng buhay.

Still looking good at 60 by the grace of God!🙌✨

Our prayer is that the Lord will continue to bless you with good health, renewed strength, wisdom, and overflowing joy as you continue to shepherd His flock. May He grant the desires of your heart and use you even more mightily for His glory.

“The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon... They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green."
