At the King’s Table | 2 Samuel 9 👑

Today, we were comforted by the Word of God through the story of Mephibosheth, reminding us of the unfailing Hesed — God’s steadfast love, kindness, and covenant faithfulness.

Mephibosheth lived in a place of barrenness, without an inheritance and seemingly forgotten. Like him, we sometimes allow our failures, shortcomings, and circumstances to define who we are. We may face seasons of pain and struggles, but God never promised us a life free from troubles. Instead, in the midst of our circumstances, He reveals who He truly is.

Just as David showed kindness to Mephibosheth for Jonathan’s sake, God has brought us near through the blood of Jesus, not because of what we have done, but because of His grace and covenant love. Mephibosheth was restored from a life of nothingness to a place at the king’s table. In the same way, God is able to restore what was lost (Joel 2:25). Under the care of our King, we can trust in His provision, protection, and faithfulness.

Our past no longer defines us. In Christ, we are no longer slaves but children of the King, restored, accepted, and welcomed at His table. We can face the future with confidence, knowing that we are never forgotten, forsaken, or abandoned.

You are no longer a slave, but a child of the King. Your past does not define you, and His love endures forever! (Galatians 4:7; Psalm 136:1)

✨YOUNG PROFESSIONALS / YOUNG COUPLES FELLOWSHIP✨

Finally, our very first fellowship! We had a meaningful time of hearing God's Word, sharing a meal, opening up, and getting to know each other better. A beautiful start to building genuine connections and growing together in faith.

As 1 Samuel 18:14 reminds us, "In everything he did he had great success, because the LORD was with him."

May we continue to walk faithfully in our own calling, celebrate one another, and grow together in Christ. Here's to more fellowships!🎉

Let us come together in worship, remembrance, and thanksgiving as we partake in the Lord’s Supper. May we take this time to reflect on Christ’s sacrifice, remember His unfailing love, and renew our commitment to Him.

Today, we were reminded from 1 Samuel 30:

When God calls and chooses you, no one can stop what He has purposed for your life. Even in seasons when everything seems lost, God is still our strength, our refuge, and our restorer.

David experienced one of his lowest moments..his city was burned, his family was taken, and even his own men turned against him. Yet David strengthened himself in the Lord and inquired of God.

When we don’t know what to do, go back to God.
When we feel weak, find strength in Him.
When we reach our limit, trust His grace.
When the enemy seems to have won, stay watchful and stand firm.

God can restore what was lost, rebuild what was broken, and change even how people see you. But victory requires that we continue to seek Him, obey Him, resist the enemy, and remain in His presence.

Don’t give up in the middle of the battle. God is not finished with you. He will help you, strengthen you, and restore you.

“David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.”
1 Samuel 30:6

Keep going. Keep praying. Keep obeying. Keep trusting.

The God who was with David is still with you. 🙏

There’s a place for you in God’s presence this Sunday. No matter what kind of week you’ve had, come and be refreshed, encouraged, and strengthened through worship, prayer, and His Word.

Bring your family and friends, and let us gather as one church to honor the Lord and experience His presence together.

Today, we were boldly reminded that being born again is more than a title or an experience—it is a new life in Christ.

To be born again is to be born from above—born of water and the Spirit. It means dying to our flesh and experiencing co-death with Christ. And through Christ, we also experience co-resurrection with Him.

We become a new creation. The old has gone, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Where there is life, there will be fruit. We must allow ourselves to be broken before the Lord, laying down our pride and flesh so that the life of Christ can spring forth in us.

If there’s no fruit, there’s no life. It’s either your flesh is very strong and there is no brokeness that’s why life is not coming out, or you did not truly experienced being born from above.

Let us die with Christ, rise with Christ, and live this new life for the glory of God.
