River of Brotherhood: A Ministering Activity 🌊❤️

Ministering isn’t just about a message; it’s about showing up for one another. The Santa Ignacia 2nd Ward Elders Quorum conducted an activity for a day of swimming and relaxation to refresh the willing hearts and spirits and deepen each others connections in the Savior’s way. 🫂

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫: 𝐈 𝐀𝐦 𝐄𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐦

Just like Nephi, I was born to goodly parents and was taught all the learning I needed.

Highly favored despite many afflictions, my family and I never failed to see His divine love and mercy.

I have seen myself in the past as imperfect and not enough, but His light grew brighter each time I came to know Him. I know I am loved. I am enough.

I know His plan is perfect, and as I let Him prevail in my life and in this journey, He will carry me through it all. His Atonement is proof of His infinite love—a source of hope that we can be made whole again.

I have kept the fire; I have kept the faith until the time was right.

I am willing to serve Him with all my heart because of the truth I hold onto and the assurance He gives every time I am reminded of His promise. I am willing to serve Him because I love Him and His people.

This is His great work, and I want everyone to know that my sole purpose as His disciple is to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.

Serving in His vineyard is a lifetime decision that will bring many souls unto Him for eternity.

This mission is never about Sister Pernitez—it’s all about Him.
