PRAYER FOR SPRITUAL STRENGTH: Ephesians 3:14-21

14When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, 15the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. 16I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. 20Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.

- DAY 16

Psalms 41:1-2 "Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The Lord rescues them when they are in trouble. The Lord protects themand keeps them alive!"

When we seek God and are thankful for all that He has given us, we will never lack for anything we need. When we give to those less than ourselves, He will bless us. If we close our eyes to the needs of those around us, God will do the same to our needs. When we put everything we have, especially our finances in His hands and do what He tells us to do, He promises to bless us. Remember, if you give nothing, you get nothing, and if you give little, you get little. "Reap what you sow". How many times have we been protected and saved from harm and calamity that we did not know about? God's word tells us that we are in His hands and no one can take us away.

- DAY 15

Ephesians 4:30-32 30 "And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own,[a] guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. 32 Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you."

Do you want to learn more about God? God will reveal Himself to us and grant light, as He has promised in the Scriptures. How was that accomplished? through a mix of the two. both via the Holy Spirit and His Word. The Holy Spirit has brought the facts of God's nature and ways to life in our hearts and, perhaps more crucially, minds through the Word of God. Paul's epistle to the Ephesians enlightens us on this procedure.

- DAY 14

Genesis 17:7 “I will confirm my covenant with you and your descendants after you, from generation to generation. This is the everlasting covenant: I will always be your God and the God of your descendants after you. "

As you continue to fast and pray ask the Holy Spirit to help you restore any of your relationships that you know ended in an abrupt way. You may not be angry or hold any ill feelings towards the person but you may feel that they have failed you. Sometimes the enemy blinds us into thinking that someone is angry with us or that you have done something wrong to them. Don't be fooled by your own thoughts, the situation may not be what you think it is. How many people do you know who don't keep in touch with long-distance loved ones because they think the other person is mad at them when in fact they aren't? Maybe they are waiting for you to make the first move.

- DAY 13

Ecclesiastes 3:13 "And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God."

God's qualities—forgiveness, mercy, justice, grace, trust, faithfulness, and love—are demonstrated in our family, whether we realize it or not. God gave us our family to help us learn how to become more like Him. We look out for one another, say prayers for one another, and discover the value of supporting one another during happy and difficult times. In our family, we can hold each other accountable and work through forgiveness and repentance even though we tend to hurt or let each other down in some way.

- DAY 12

Psalms 27:14 "Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous.
Yes, wait patiently for the Lord."

Our world is moving extremely quickly. There are numerous things vying for our attention at every instant of the day. The list goes on: job, play, family, church, kids, grandkids, appointments, friends, education, sleep, shopping, enjoyment, holidays, trips, sports, and so forth. If we're not careful, the Lord's position in our life could unexpectedly fall to the bottom of a long list of other priorities. God is a jealous God, and He will only occupy the top spot in our hearts. Everything in our lives—our bodies, our time, our money, our families, our jobs—is a gift from God.

- DAY 11

Deuteronomy 8:17-18 "You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” 18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today."

As children of God we often find it difficult to wait on God to answer our prayers. For some reason we think God needs our help to answer our prayers we do our own way instead of waiting on God. God's word tells us that His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. So why is it difficult for us to wait on God? Perhaps it is because of our impatience, vanity, or lack of trust that will cause us to jump ahead of God instead of waiting and listening for His voice. Do we really trust God to answer us when we call on Him? Do you want to wait for the Lord to answer all your prayers, even longer than expected?

- DAY 10

Proverbs 19:21 "Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails"

We worship a God of prosperity and wealth. He will take you to roles you never would have imagined you could hold and provide you with the skills to perform them better than anyone else. Never forget that everything you touch is blessed by your Father. Thus, plant your hand and hold on to it. Have a positive outlook. Avoid being a whiner. The people who complain are never the first to get promoted.
