𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐀

In light of the track and intensity forecast of Tropical Depression "Ramil" affecting our island-province, the Diocese of Virac is calling on all the faithful to unite in prayer. Most Rev. Luisito A. Occiano, DD, Bishop of Virac, together with the Virac clergy, ask all parishes, religious organizations, and lay individuals to participate in the praying of the Oratio Imperata against natural disasters.

Prayer is our most powerful weapon. In these uncertain times, it is crucial that we turn to God and implore His mercy and protection. Let us come together as one community of faith, united in purpose and spirit, to pray for deliverance from these calamities.

May the Good Lord, through the intercessions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, and St. Joseph, keep us safe in this time of uncertainty.

Sa mga magpapa-binyag po sa darating na Pasko (Dec. 25, 2024) at bagong taon (Jan. 1, 2025) sa Parokya ng Santa Elena ang Emperatris, tumatanggap na po ang opisina ng parokya ng mga magpapalista.

Magdala lamang ng mga sumusunod:
(1) Birth certificate ng bata
(2) Marriage certificate ng magulang (kung kasal), birth certificate ng mga magulang (kung hindi kasal)
(3) Baptismal certificate ng mga ninong at ninang

Ang schedule po ng seminar ay sa December 21, 2024 (Sabado) 1pm, para sa mga magpapabinyag ng araw ng Pasko; at December 28 (Sabado) 1pm, para sa magpapabinyag ng araw ng Bagong Taon.

Mga paalala:
(1) Magpalista lamang po kung kompleto na ang mga requirements.

In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea, and Herod was tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of the region of Ituraea and Trachonitis, and Lysanias was tetrarch of Abilene,
during the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John the son of Zechariah in the desert. John went throughout the whole region of the Jordan, proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins, as it is written in the book of the words of the prophet Isaiah:
A voice of one crying out in the desert:
“Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths. Every valley shall be filled and every mountain and hill shall be made low. The winding roads shall be made straight, and the rough ways made smooth, and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.”

Lk 3:1-6
