What a truly inspiring day to celebrate the remarkable acts of service and compassion of The Salvation Army Sta. Barbara Corps during our TAG Day and Pre-Thanksgiving Celebration 2025. In partnership with DSWD Region 1 through The Haven-Regional Center for Children, we came together to honor the spirit of giving and community. The event was a joyful mini concert, highlighting the incredible talents and skills of each department within the Corps—a beautiful reminder that Sta. Barbara Corps is a family committed to uplifting one another to bless others.

This celebration was more than just a gathering; it was an opportunity to share the love of Christ through the Gospel with the clients and staff of The Haven. Everyone present was touched and reminded of the boundless love and hope found in Him. As a token of our love and support, The Salvation Army generously donated Jollibee meals, along with kitchen, dining, and sleeping materials for all the TH-RCC clients.

We are deeply grateful to DSWD Region 1 through The Haven Regional Center for allowing us to turn this celebration into a truly meaningful and extra special occasion. Together, we continue to build a community rooted in faith, love, and service. To God be all the glory for His goodness and grace.

On a beautiful Sunday, February 16th, 2025, at The Salvation Army Santa Barbara Corps, a couple's love radiated through the air, mirroring the warmth and compassion of married life. Witnessing their commitment to each other within the sanctuary, a space dedicated to service and faith, was a powerful reminder of the enduring strength of love and the beauty of shared journeys, inspiring hope and joy for all those present.

With the pressure to balance work, family, and personal responsibilities, self-care and mental wellness often take a backseat. To counter this, it is crucial to prioritize mental health and self-care as a means of empowerment. As part of our joint founding anniversary celebration, The Salvation Army Sta.Barbara Corps and its social services recently equipped and trained the parents and guardians of PH0747 Child Development Center on effective strategies for promoting mental wellness and self-care. The training covered essential topics, including:

👉* Setting healthy boundaries.
👉* Prioritizing self-care activities.
