IN PHOTOS: Misa de Gracia of Reverend Father Dennis Señerez Abalorio, celebrated at the Parish of Santa Barbara on June 19, 2026.

A joyful and grace-filled celebration marked the first Holy Mass of Fr. Dennis Abalorio following his Presbyteral Ordination. Surrounded by family, friends, parishioners, and fellow clergy, Fr. Dennis offered thanksgiving to God for the gift of his vocation and the blessings received throughout his journey to the priesthood.

Joining this meaningful celebration were distinguished members of the clergy, including His Grace, Most Rev. Midyphil B. Billones, D.D., Archbishop of Jaro, and Most Rev. Jose Romeo O. Lazo, D.D., Bishop Emeritus of Jaro, who served as the homilist during the concelebrated Mass.

Also concelebrating were Fr. Dennis’ fellow newly ordained priests of the Archdiocese of Jaro—Rev. Fr. Jan Philip M. Gumban, Rev. Fr. JP Gerard M. Marcelino, Rev. Fr. Karl Arlie C. Pajanconi, and Rev. Fr. John Marc P. Sarasa.

We thank the Lord for the gift of Fr. Dennis’ priesthood and for the witness of these newly ordained shepherds. May God continue to bless them with wisdom, strength, and fidelity as they serve His people and proclaim His Gospel.

With hearts full of gratitude and joy, the Parish of Santa Barbara invites everyone to witness a grace-filled milestone in the life of our beloved, Reverend Dennis Señerez Abalorio, as he receives the Sacred Sacrament of Priesthood on June 15, 2026, at the Jaro Metropolitan Cathedral.

Reverend Dennis, 30 years old, is the son of Honorato Abalorio and Ninfa Señerez and a proud native of Brgy. Cadagmayan Norte, Santa Barbara, Iloilo. His journey of faith, dedication, and service now reaches a beautiful new chapter as he answers God's call to shepherd His people.

We also warmly invite everyone to join his Thanksgiving Mass on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the Parish of Santa Barbara, where together we will offer thanks to God for the gift of his vocation and priestly ministry.

Let us come together as one community in prayer and thanksgiving for our new priest as we continue to pray for many more hearts to listen to God's call and serve with faith, humility, and love.

The Parish of Santa Barbara joyfully celebrated the Santacruzan on May 31, 2026, marking the culmination of the month-long Flores de Mayo in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

This year's celebration featured the sagalas together with Reyna Elena, Cara Eloesa Fernandez Sullano, and Constantine, Joaquin Calix Sullano Del Carmen, who led the procession as symbols of faith and devotion.

We also express our heartfelt gratitude to this year's Hermana Mayor, Dr. Maria Rebecca Fernandez Sullano, for her generosity and support in making this celebration possible.

For four decades, Monsignor Delgado has faithfully shepherded God’s people with humility, wisdom, and unwavering devotion. His life of service continues to inspire our community, guiding us closer to Christ through his example of love and dedication. We thank him for his years of ministry and pray for his continued strength and blessings in the years ahead.
