๐’๐ญ. ๐‹๐š๐ฐ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž was one of the seven deacons of the Church in Rome, entrusted with caring for the poor and safeguarding the treasures of the Church. During the persecution of Christians under Emperor Valerian, he was ordered to surrender the Church's riches. Instead, Lawrence gathered the poor, the sick, the widows, and the orphaned, presenting them before the authorities and boldly declaring:

The ๐“๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ฌ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‹๐จ๐ซ๐ is a glorious moment in the life of Jesus, when He revealed His divine glory to His disciples Peter, James, and John upon a high mountain. Before their eyes, His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became dazzling white. Moses and Elijah appeared beside Him, speaking with Jesus, while a bright cloud overshadowed them and the voice of the Father declared:

On July 5, 2026, the Guanellian Altar Server Ministry marked a beautiful milestone as a new cohort of young servers stepped forward to answer the call of service at the altar. Wrapped in the spirit of St. Louis Guanellaโ€™s profound love for the Holy Eucharist, these newly invested servers stood before the community to pledge their dedication, reverence, and hearts to the liturgy. The solemn investiture ceremony was a powerful reminder that serving at the altar is not just a duty, but a sacred privilege to assist the priest and draw closer to the mysteries of our faith.

As we welcome these fresh faces into our ministry, we also celebrate the burning zeal and commitment of our senior servers who renewed their vows to guide their younger brothers. We express our deepest gratitude to the parents, coordinators, and the entire Guanellian community whose unwavering support and prayers continue to nurture these young souls. May the patron saints of altar servers inspire our ministry to always serve with humility, joy, and a deep-seated love for the Lord, shining as beacons of Christ's light both inside and outside the sanctuary.
