Many at Galatia had been influenced by the "Judaizers, " Jewish Christians, or at least Christians in name, who sought to be justified through keeping the Law of Moses.
But Paul tells them that the true function of the Law was not to save but to be a "schoolmaster" or "teacher" to bring them to Christ.
Once they saw the impossibility of keeping the Law and the great culpability of breaking it, they would see their need to be saved by faith alone.

At some point in time, we have felt like a failure. We slip up under pressure and fail to meet the expectations of those we respect. We behave poorly in family interactions or backslide in our walk with Christ.
There are multiple ways we fail the world, but we are not failures to God. He sees us from the inside and knows our true hearts. He loves us unconditionally and will always strengthen us for the road ahead.

As a Christian, you have been called to live a higher life – a life of holiness and righteousness.
Stick to the Word of God and make sure that you apply it in every part of your life. There is no joy walking in disobedience; remember who you are in Jesus Christ and continue to focus on Him.
Pray for those you know who are walking in disobedience and make an effort to preach to them.

As children of God we aren't just called to obey our Father in Heaven. We are called to obey our earthly parents too.
Our parents have been placed as our guides, our teachers, and the people we are to submit to. Parents have the responsibility of raising their children up in the right way - which is the way of the Lord.
One way that we express our love of God is in obeying our parents and respecting them.

Weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5)
God's children may have sorrow and tribulation in this world for what, in the light of eternity, will be but a brief moment, but they will find everlasting joy.
Heaven will be a place without tears.

Nowadays, the last part of this verse is so popular that we interpret it as since God is with me, then all things are possible for me.
Actually, God does not guarantee that we will succeed in every venture.
Humanity is completely unable to achieve salvation through personal effort—only God can save, because of God’s omnipotence—his absolute power to what he pleases.

The Law of God is good, perfect, and righteous altogether. But due to the inability of man to keep it, its judgment becomes as a curse.
To try to follow the Law externally with an unrenewed spirit will prove futile and worthless in the end.
But to serve God in newness of spirit will yield joy of soul and eternal glory to God.

God has assembled us uniquely as His Body, a family of interdependent and collaborative parts working together as a unit to carry out Christ’s continuing work.
Our unity ought to be evident in the way that we hold one another up, celebrating each other’s triumphs, and mourning each other’s losses.
In doing so, we work and operate as one body, reflecting the love of the One who called us together.

Paul here tells the Thessalonian believers that their whole persons and, thus, their whole lives must be made holy before God.
Their spirits, that is, the higher nature in man (his mind and that which relates to God); their souls, that is, their lower natures
(emotions and the mind's connection to physical senses and desires); and even their bodies, though purely physical and mere "tents" that their immaterial part live in, must all be sanctified.
