Let the games begin! The Parish Youth Sports Fest 2026 will gather the parish youth under the theme “Youth of Francis: Journeying in Faith and Love.” More than a competition, this celebration will embody Synodality — walking together in unity, faith, and fellowship.

Adding vibrancy to the event are the four symbolic teams, each carrying a unique mission:
- 🔵 Blue Galilee Navigators — charting the course of courage and faith
- 🔴 Red Carmel Firebearers — igniting passion and conviction in service
- 🟢 Green Gethsemane Stewards — tending perseverance and growth with care
- 🟡 Yellow Bethlehem Luminaries — shining with hope and guiding light

Together, these teams reflect the essence of Synodality: distinct in identity yet united in purpose, journeying side by side toward a common goal.

We affirm that the Sports Fest will strengthen bonds among young parishioners, encouraging teamwork, service, and spiritual growth — proving that sports can be a channel of Synodality and mission.

Note: All altar servers, choir members, and ministries under the Youth are required to attend.

The clergy of the Vicariate of Sta. Ana gathered at NPR Resort, Racat, Sta. Ana for a discussion on the Missionary Conversion Path today, 19 May 2026. The meeting became an opportunity for dialogue, reflection, and shared discernment on the pastoral directions and missionary priorities of the Church in Tuguegarao.

The clergy expressed their gratitude to the Archbishop, Most Rev. Ricardo L. Baccay, DD and Fr. Manuel Catral for their fraternal presence, attentive listening, and genuine accompaniment throughout the gathering. According to the clergy, their participation fostered an atmosphere of communion and collaboration among the priests of the vicariate.

The encounter highlighted the importance of synodality, pastoral renewal, and missionary commitment as the local Church continues to journey together in responding to the needs of the faithful and the mission of evangelization.

Gathering and organizing of chapel and barangay pastoral officers as they strengthen coordination and leadership for the community’s spiritual activities. The meeting focused on assigning officers, planning, and promoting unity and cooperation among members in service to the Church and the faithful. 🙏⛪

With grateful hearts and joyful spirits, the faithful community of Casagan Chapel gathered in celebration of the Feast of St. Isidore Labrador through a solemn Thanksgiving Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Myke Rodnick D. Laforteza, OFM.

In his homily, Fr. Laforteza reflected on the virtues of humility, perseverance, and faithfulness in labor, drawing inspiration from the life of St. Isidore Labrador, the beloved patron of farmers and workers. The celebration served as a reminder that holiness can be found in ordinary work offered wholeheartedly to God.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the official launching and unveiling of the San Isidro Labrador Chapel logo, symbolizing the chapel community’s shared identity, mission, and continuing journey of faith.

The thanksgiving gathering concluded with a simple salo-salo at the Casagan Barangay Hall, where parishioners and guests shared food, fellowship, and joyful moments as one faith community.

With grateful hearts and united in prayer, the faithful community gathered at Dungeg Chapel for the Thanksgiving Mass in honor of the feast of St. Isidore the Worker, the humble patron of farmers and laborers.

The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Domingo Juan Resurreccion, who reminded the community of the dignity of work, the value of faith, and the importance of offering every labor to God with love and sincerity.

As families, workers, and devotees came together in prayer and thanksgiving, the celebration became a beautiful witness of faith, gratitude, and community spirit rooted in simple living and hard work.

The Order of Friars Minor (OFM) Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) has officially confirmed its scholars for Academic Year 2026–2027 through a contract signing with Fr. Ronald Factor, OFM.

The scholars—Diomie Galano, Elmer Pagarigan, Jearold Angelo Sabben, and Lindsay Mhiel Sian—have formally entered into the JPIC scholarship, signifying their dedication to academic excellence and their alignment with the Franciscan mission.

In the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi—marked by humility, simplicity, and fraternal presence—the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Myke Rodnick D. Laforteza, together with the OFM Immersionist Brothers, Lay Leaders and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHC), Bro. Ronnie Labaguis, visited the community of Bolos Point for a meaningful pastoral encounter.

The visit began with a sincere and open dialogue with the community, allowing space for listening to their lived experiences, concerns, and hopes. This encounter reflected the Church’s mission of accompaniment—journeying with the faithful in the spirit of listening, understanding, and shared faith.

Following the community dialogue, the Holy Eucharist was solemnly celebrated and presided over by Rev. Fr. Myke Rodnick D. Laforteza, with the assistance of the OFM Immersionist Brothers, Lay Leader and EMHC, Bro. Ronnie Labaguis. The celebration became a living expression of communion and thanksgiving, where the faithful gathered as one family in Christ, strengthened by His Word and Sacrament.

This pastoral visit stands as a witness to the Franciscan call of being a Church that is present among the people—simple, humble, and committed to walking with the community in faith and service, bringing the Gospel message of peace, fraternity, and love.

SANTA ANA, CAGAYAN – DUNGEG CHAPEL successfully elected new Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) / Barangay Pastoral Council (BPC) officers on May 10, 2026. The election was conducted with the assistance of the Parish Pastoral Council of St. Anthony of Padua Parish.

The newly elected officers will lead pastoral programs, coordinate liturgical activities, and foster unity among parishioners.
