Kapag normal ang buhay, feeling natin we are in control.
We wake up. We go to work. We go home. We make plans. We schedule tomorrow. We plan next month. We plan next year.
But then one moment
Heavy rain.
Flood.
Storm.
Emergency.
A phone call.
A loss.
And suddenly everything changes.
Yung bahay na pinaghirapan mong itayo
biglang ang prayer mo:
“Lord, kahit mawala ang gamit, basta safe kami."
Yung mga bagay na pinaghirapan mong bilhi!
“Lord, makakabili ulit ako. Basta okay ang family ko."
And suddenly, we realize:
There are things money cannot protect.
There are things preparation cannot guarantee.
And there are things we simply cannot control.
And sometimes, it takes a storm to remind us of something we already know
