𝑉𝑖𝑐𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦 𝑖𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑎𝑙𝑤𝑎𝑦𝑠 𝑑𝑒𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑑 𝑏𝑦 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑖𝑟𝑠𝑡. 𝑆𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒𝑠, 𝑖𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑓𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑘𝑒𝑒𝑝 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑤𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑢𝑝, 𝑡ℎ𝑒 ℎ𝑢𝑚𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑡𝑜 𝑔𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑏𝑒𝑠𝑡, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑓𝑎𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑡𝑜 𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑒𝑓𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑠 𝑖𝑡𝑠 𝑝𝑢𝑟𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑒.

Though this comes a little late, the memories and milestones from Parish Youth Days 2026 remain worth celebrating.

After being crowned 𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒊𝒐𝒏 in the previous Parish Youth Days, we entered 𝐏𝐘𝐃 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 carrying not the pressure to defend a title, but the desire to once again offer our best for God and our parish.

From June 12–14, Sta. Monica Chapel Youth Ministry joined 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒌𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒏 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝑸𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒂𝒔𝒖𝒚𝒖𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝑪𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒏, 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒊𝒌𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒏 𝑫𝒂 𝑹𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒄𝒂𝒏. For three meaningful days, we competed with passion, served with humility, and strengthened the bond that unites us as one family in Christ.

These awards are not merely a measure of success—they are reminders that every practice, every sacrifice, every prayer, and every act of teamwork was worthwhile. While we may not have brought home the overall championship this time, we leave with something even greater: stronger faith, deeper friendships, valuable lessons, and hearts inspired to continue serving.

To every Monican who represented SMoCYM, thank you for giving your all. We remain committed to living our faith, serving with love, and glorifying God in every opportunity He gives us.

The journey continues, and so does our mission.

In the stillness of the evening, the VDLR PYM came together for the Way of Taizé, graciously hosted by the Santa Monica Parish Youth Ministry.

Through prayer, silence, Scripture, and song, we were reminded that God’s voice is often found in quiet moments. May this shared encounter continue to deepen our faith, strengthen our unity, and inspire us to live as witnesses of Christ in our communities.
