The Secret of Contentment
Contentment is learned not automatic.

Philippians 4:11-13 NIV
[11] I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. [12] I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. [13] I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Ang pusong matigas ay hindi lang basta hindi nakikinig—ito ay puso na paulit-ulit nang tumatanggi sa Diyos hanggang sa mawalan na ng sensitivity sa Kanya. Kahit pa naririnig nito ang Salita ng Diyos, hindi na ito tumatagos o wala na itong epekto sa kaniya.

Kaya't habang mayroong conviction pa tayong nararamdaman at narinig natin ang tinig ng Panginoon, huwag nating patigasin ang puso, kundi magpakumbaba sa Diyos at magpaayos ng puso.

Hebrews 3:15 — “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”

Lesson: We must examine our hearts and ask God to change them. While God is giving us a chance to change huwag natin itong balewalain at sayangin.
