Finally, after almost 2 weeks of preparation, we've successfully managed to perform and give our best performance last April 22, 23, and 24. Three consecutive days of performing the dance we've worked together.
Last April 22, ay ang Youth Night na kung saan ipinakita ng iba't-ibang kabataan ang kanilang talento sa pag-sayaw ng Modern Dance. At isa ang kabataan ng Santo Niรฑo de Cebu Chapel sa mga nagbigay ng kanilang pang-malakasang performance na Hip-hop Dance.
Sa kasunod na araw naman, April 23, ay ang Cultural Dance Competition na kung saan mapalad na nabingwit ng Santo Niรฑo de Cebu Chapel ang Unang Pwesto (Champion) sa nasabing kompetisyon.
Naging dahilan ito upang kami'y muling maimbitahang magtanghal sa kasunod na araw para sa Coronation Night ng Gintong Hiyas na ginanap noong nakaraang April 24. Sa gabi ring iyon parehas na Modern Dance at Cultural Dance ang bigay todong aming ipinasundayag.
And maybe the most unusual part of all this isnโt the prize, the applause, or even the invitations that followed. Itโs how something as simple as a dance routine slowly turned into a shared memory we canโt quite leave on the stage.
Because long after the music stopped, it still felt like somewhere between the final bow and walking offstageโฆ we were still dancing, just in a quieter way no one else could see.
Maraming salamat sa lahat ng naging parte ng journey na ito, of course ang mga dancers, ang aming purely talented choreographer, Ate't-Kuya as our support systems, supporters, organizers, at sa bawat taong naniwala sa amin.
This win, this experience, and this memory, para po ito sa inyong lahat! ๐
