1 Peter 3:3-4
3 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. 4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

Today's standard of beauty is expensive. One should buy make up, has a lot of skin care routine, wear revealing clothes for , and many more. Some of those things aren't bad but we should not focus on our physical appearance. We are being influenced by social media's standard of beauty, when in fact we should just focus in our spirit.
Apostle Peter wrote that our beauty "should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit". Those beauty that we see through our naked eye are just temporary. But the beauty of our relationship with God is eternal. Focus on your main purpose here on earth, and the Lord will bless you in all the aspects of your life.
