Laudetur Iesus Christus! ๐โ๏ธ
This month, We joyfully celebrate the Month of Altar Servers whose devotion serving the Altar at their parish reflects deeply to their love for the liturgy and God. These young servers are not just participants in the liturgy; they are witnesses to the faith, shining examples of how the love of God can be expressed through humble and joyful service! A parish can create an atmosphere of reverence and duty at Mass that reinforces in young people the joy of serving the Lord.
As we approach the the feast day of Saint Tarcisius, the patron saint of all Altar Servers we should reflect on his example of courage and devotion towards the Holy Eucharist. He was attacked by a mob while carrying the Eucharist to imprisoned Christians. He chose to protect the sacred sacrament at the cost of his own life, demonstrating extraordinary courage and devotion.
Thank you fellow Altar Servers for your dedication, and for finding such joy in serving the Lord. May the Example of Saint Tarcisius guide us all in our sacred duties.
Majorem Dei Gloriam!
