God is not looking for casual commitment.

Sometimes we think devotion is only seen during worship services, quiet time, or moments when life feels good. But reverent devotion goes deeper than moments — it becomes a lifestyle.

Acts 2 reminds us that a devoted church wasn’t built on performance but on people who stayed rooted in God’s Word, walked in fellowship, broke bread together, and remained prayerful.

When God is seen for who He truly is — big, holy, and worthy — our response changes. We stop treating faith casually and start living with surrender.

Maybe devotion isn’t about doing more.
Maybe it’s about giving God His rightful place in every part of our lives.

May we become people who seek Him daily, stay committed through every season, and live with hearts fully devoted to Him.

Because reverent devotion doesn’t end on Sunday — it shapes the way we live every day.

A Holy God is calling us to live a holy life. 🕊

In a world where compromise is normal, God still calls His people to be different. 🙌

Holy living begins in the mind.
What you entertain in your thoughts eventually shapes your actions, desires, and direction in life.

That is why God calls us to:
• prepare our minds;
• live in obedience;
• reflect His holiness;
• walk in reverent fear; and
• remember the priceless sacrifice of Jesus.

Holiness is not about acting religious.
It is about being set apart for God.

Hindi man perfect agad—
pero unti-unti, dapat nagiging mas katulad tayo ni Cristo.

Maybe today, God is calling you back to His will.
Not to live like the world—
but to live a life that reflects Him.

“Be holy, because I am holy.” ❤️‍🔥

God's Path, Our Victory! 🏆

This week, Southville's children embarked on "The Journey to the Promised Land," discovering the incredible story of Joshua, Caleb, and God's unfailing faithfulness! 🙌

They learned that even when faced with fearsome giants and tough challenges, God's plan always leads to victory for those who trust Him. Just like Joshua and Caleb believed in God's power over every obstacle, our kids are learning to walk confidently on God's path, knowing He will always lead them to triumph!

What happens when we truly encounter the holiness of God?💭

Reverence is more than admiration. It is surrender.

Like Isaiah, we realize that we are not worthy on our own. The closer we get to God, the clearer we see our sin—but also the greater we see His grace.

- Kapag nakita natin ang kabanalan ng Diyos—natututo tayong magpakumbaba.
- Kapag nakita natin ang ating kasalanan—natututo tayong magsisi.
- At kapag naranasan natin ang Kanyang biyaya—natututo tayong sumunod.

God doesn’t reveal our brokenness to shame us. He reveals it so He can heal, restore, and use us.

Maybe today, God is not only calling you to admire Him from a distance—maybe He is calling you to fully surrender.

“Here am I. Send me.” 🙌

DAILY DEPENDENCE ON GOD

This week, Southville's children learned the meaningful story of the Manna and Quail from Exodus Chapter 16! ✨

They learned the beautiful lesson of Daily Dependence on God. Just as God sent Manna every morning and Quail every evening for the Israelites while they journeyed in the wilderness, He commanded them clearly: gather only enough for that day, do not keep extra because it will spoil, and trust that He will provide again tomorrow.

They discovered that we don’t need to be greedy or worry too much about the future, because our Heavenly Father is always faithful. He knows exactly what we need and wants us to rely on Him every single day — believing that today He will sustain us, and tomorrow He will still be there for us!
