SUNDAY REFLECTION

Homily Quotes | 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time

"But this woman won't give up. She stays, she trusts, she holds fast to her hope. The silence of Jesus and the rejection of the disciples do not discourage her. This is what makes her faith so great. Her faith was stronger than her fear; her trust was greater than her disappointment. Finally, Jesus says to her, “Woman, how great is your faith. It will be done as you wish.”

Everyone will be saved, not because we are worthy of it, but because God is full of mercy and has made us worthy of salvation. Sa buhay na ito, we must have a heart that does not easily give up and keep trusting even if the answer is slow in coming.

How great is the faith of the Canaanite woman, that because of her faith, her prayer for her daughter was answered as her faith in Jesus moved Him to hear her plea.

SUNDAY REFLECTION

Homily Quotes | 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time

"When the waves are high, this celebration is telling us, “Keep your eyes on God. When you start to sink, call on Him. When you no longer have the strength, remember this: His hand is already reaching out to hold you.”

Because faith is not about believing that storms will never come to us. Instead, faith is trusting us that no storm is greater than our God who walks on the water.

May your faith teach you to put your lives in the mighty hands of God. Amen."

SUNDAY REFLECTION

Homily Quotes | 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time

"At this banquet, we are simply not called to partake. We are not simply called to eat, but also to share. For if we do not share with others what we have received from God, the work of Jesus and the spread of the Gospel will not become a reality. Hindi siya magkakaroon ng katotohanan at kahulugan. We must remember that every Eucharist we celebrate is a reminder of our mission, a reminder of what we must do, a reminder of what we must do, a reminder of how we should relate to our neighbors, especially those most in need, because if we do not work and fulfill our mission after each celebration of the Eucharist, magkakatotoo yung sinasabi na yung Eucharistia ay nagiging lamang ritual. Yung Eucharistia, nawawalan ng Eucharistia. After the celebration of each Eucharist, let us always choose to love, let us always to choose to care for, let us always choose to share with others what we have and what we received from God, sapagkat doon sa pagbabahagi, doon natin makikita ang tunay kahulugan ng pagiging kaisa sa hapag ng Panginoon."
