π Galatians 5:1
π June 7, 2026 | Ptr. Jun Ricardo
True freedom is not simply being released from prison, living without obligations, or doing whatever we want. True freedom is found in Christβthe freedom from the domination of sin so that we may live by the Spirit and walk in righteousness.
Jesus has set us free through His sacrifice on the cross. As believers, we are called to stand firm in that freedom, bearing the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
βTherefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.β β 2 Corinthians 5:17
Let us not return to the yoke of slavery that sin brings. Instead, let us take upon ourselves the yoke of Jesusβa yoke that teaches us to stand firm, remain faithful, and live according to the Holy Spirit.
ποΈ βTrue freedom is not the license to do anything we please, but the absence of domination.β
May we continually lay down the yoke of sin and receive His gentle yoke of freedom.
