We call on our Heavenly Father to comfort those who are mourning during this tragic period for the peoples of Northern Nepal and Tibet. The devastating flash floods have resulted in the loss of over 300 lives with more than a thousand missing as of this writing.

Let's intercede for them and pray that more survivors would be found and the Lord would allow all life to be preserved. Pray also that the monsoon season would not bring any more floods and that those in authority would be able to mobilize efficiently to save and safeguard as many as possible.

Last but not the least, pray that Christ-followers in the region would show even more love and compassion to those in need. May those who have yet to know the name of Jesus come to a saving relationship with Him even in this difficult time.

When our days start to feel burdensome and we're unsure that our lives can turn around, God reminds us that He is still writing our story. It says in Isaiah 43:18-19a, “Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past. “Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it?”

What a beautiful weekend it is! 🙏🏻

Thank you to everyone who joined us, opened their hearts, and took the time to discover who Jesus is. From the sessions and worship to the conversations, prayers, and friendships, we pray that every moment pointed you closer to Him.

We’re grateful for every story, every question, every realization, and every step of faith. But most of all, we praise God for allowing us to witness how He moved in each life.

May what began at ENCOUNTER continue beyond the retreat—as we grow in knowing Jesus, following Him, and making Him known.

It’s easy to believe when you can already see it coming, but will you still believe when you don’t see anything yet? It says in ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬, “for we walk by faith, not by sight.”

When life feels uncertain and we’ve lost what we once held dear, we can find refuge under the wings of our faithful God. He is our security when everything else feels uncertain. May we continue to trust Him and rest in His care, knowing that He never leaves His children without hope.

There will be moments in life we’ll feel empty due to circumstances we cannot control. But in seasons of lack and loss, we can find rest in God’s redeeming love. Through His love, we can faithfully live each day by fixing our hope on Him whose timing is always perfect.

This weekend, join us this Sunday at as we continue our series "Ordinary People, Extraordinary God," as we learn how to rely on God’s timing and provision.
