Today, I wanted to pause with grateful heart to remember the life of Ron Kenoly, a worshipper who didn’t just sing songs, but led generations into the presence of God.
Promoted to glory on February 3, 2026, his voice may have gone quiet on earth, but heaven surely grew louder.
Ron didn’t just teach us how to worship...he showed us why. Through every lifted lyric, every joyful shout, every reverent moment, he reminded us that worship is not a performance, but a surrender. Not a song list, but a heart posture. When his songs played, something shifted. Heavy hearts grew lighter. Faith rose. Chains loosened. And Jesus was always exalted.
Even today, his songs still walk with me. They’ve carried me through ordinary days and sacred moments, through valleys and victories. When words failed me, his worship gave my soul language. When strength ran low, those familiar melodies helped me lift my eyes again to the King who reigns forever.
What a beautiful legacy...to spend a lifetime pointing people to Jesus, and then to finally behold Him face to face. No more singing by faith. No more longing. Just fullness of joy in the presence of the One he loved and proclaimed.
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of Ron Kenoly. Thank You for lives changed, hearts awakened, and worship ignited through his obedience. May we who remain continue the song: worshipping not just with our lips, but with our lives: until the day we, too, are promoted to glory.
“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.”
And today, we honor a worshipper who finished well ❤️🔥
