𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏?
- Worship is our response to His majesty… and as Eugene Peterson so magnificently put it, “A tribute to God when He comes.” Worship is the created—you and I—responding to the Creator. Our spirit being fueled in His presence as we invite the river of life to do in us what only He can do. A hearts cry that results in lives abandoned to following Jesus.

God’s presence defines us. It’s only His presence that sets us apart. And every time we draw near to Him, He, our great God, draws near to us. If you can casually meander through worship, then I would dare to say that maybe, just maybe, you have not entered into true worship at all. When it comes to responding in song..we need Jesus-centered, Holy Spirit–filled, passionate, authentic, messy, beautiful songs of the heart that cause our hearts to lean in.. Because when God comes close, everything changes.

Spend time today as you start this devotional and dedicate yourself to draw near to God’s presence afresh…He’s just after your heart.

Galatians 1:10
"Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant."

The true servant of Christ does not try to please man, but only the Lord he pleases. We should not be afraid to rebuke or correct someone if we know what we are saying is from God's revelations. So it doesn't matter that we can't win the approval of the people, as long as we can win the approval of the Lord.

That's why strive to win the approval of God. Use the ability, skill, and wisdom the Lord has given us to please Him and we shouldn't use these to please people.

This is what the Lord says, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland."

When tomorrow dawns, it will be another day, new opportunity, and the time to show our faith in Jesus as Lord. Let's journey forward, knowing that God already inhabits the future and promises to provide us refreshment on our journey.

Jesus will come at an hour when we do not expect Him to come, so it is important to always be alert, awake and clear-minded. This means that we must be spiritually prepared, we need to do spiritual things to strengthen our faith and to deepen our relationship with God. Be wise just like the five virgins who took oil with them. And let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober for the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

What's the basis of our happiness? If it's our outward circumstances, we're all in trouble because sooner or later, these aren't going to be too good. Paul said he had learned the secret to living above life's circumstances. That secret was Jesus Christ. Jesus is our assurance that no matter how difficult our problems might be, they are not permanent. No matter how hard life is, Jesus will give us the strength to persevere. Am sure that Jesus will do this for you and me. ❤

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗪𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀

When it comes to trials in our lives, one word that’s usually at the forefront of our lips is why. Because trials are difficult, painful, and miserable, we usually ask, “Why is this happening to me?” and we almost never get the answer we’re looking for. They make us doubt what we believe because our own desires are being tested.

Here are a few reasons we go through trials:

𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩
- Regardless of how trials enter our lives, they can be used as a tool to strengthen and develop our character and our faith. When we go through things that test our patience and resilience, we can either work with the trial and allow it to strengthen us or we can keep fighting against it. It is incredibly difficult to allow hard times to refine us but when we do, the finished product, which is a better, more godly version of ourselves, is worth it.

𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨
- There’s a harsh reality when it comes to choices and that’s the consequences that follow. Oftentimes, our trials and hardships are a direct result of how others live their lives and we live our lives. We can either suffer because of someone else’s actions or our own actions. Some actions are sinful, and when they are, the consequences that follow are anything but good.

𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙠
- When it comes to Satan, our spiritual enemy, we either give him too much credit or too little credit. Every bad thing that happens to us is not his fault but understand that he does play a role in the difficult circumstances that we face.
