THE PASTOR'S THREE T's
Main Text: 2 Timothy 2:1–2
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
Ano ba dapat ang makita sa buhay at ministeryo ng isang Pastor?
Ang tunay na ministry ay hindi natatapos sa pagiging preacher, dapat ito magpatuloy sa taong kanyang natuturuan at nahuhubog.
I. TEACH-Kung paano nagtuturo ang pastor
A. TEACH THE TRUTH
I Timothy 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
Mahalaga ang pag aaral para meron tayong ituturo.
Kasama sa teaching ang pag rebuke!
Ang mahirap dyan di ka na natatamaan sa mga tinuturo.
Trust must remain truth kahit hindi ito popular
B. TEACH THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF GOD
Acts 20:27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
Hindi lahat ay puro encouragement. Kung ano ang kailangan i-preach yun ang ip-preach natin.
Kailangan magpahayag patungkol sa kasalanan.
May panahon para mag comfort, may panahon para mag correct. May panahon para mag encourage at may panahon para mag reprove at rebuke.
II Timothy 4:2 preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
II. TRAIN-Kung paano naghahanda ang pastor ng mga workers at servants
II Timothy 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
Kaya kayo pinagtuturo para matuto din kayo.
A. TRAINING REQUIRES FAITHFULNESS
Maaring hindi ikaw ang pinakamatalino pero ikaw ang faithful. Maaring hindi ikaw magaling pero ikaw ay faithful. Hindi man yan nakikita ng marami, pero nakikita yan ng Panginoon.
I Cor 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
B. TRAINING REQUIRES EXAMPLE
Madali ka matututo kapag hindi lang sinabe sayo kung ano lang ang gagawin. Matututo ka kapag nakita mo na kung pano gagawin.
People learn by not only from what we say but from what we live.
I Corinthians 4:16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.
C. TRAINING REQUIRES OPPORTUNITY
Ang Pastor ay tinawag upang ihanda ang mga tao para sa ministry.
Ephesians 4:11-12 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Ang healthy na church ay ang mga members ay hindi spectators kundi mga servants. “ano ang pwede kong gawin para sa ministry?”
III. TESTIFY-Ang pastor bilang halimbawa sa buhay
I Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
A. TESTIFY IN YOUR WORD
Makita dapat ang pastor sa grace of truth.
B. TESTIFY IN YOUR WALK
Makita sa buhay ng isang Pastor ang testimony niya. Hindi lang holy kapag nasa pulpit. Ang tunay na testimony ay hindi lang nakikita kapag may nakatingin, mas kilala dapat tayo kahit walang nakatingin.
C. TESTIFY IN YOUR FAITH
Kapag mahirap ang ministry nananatili ba siyang faithful?
Kapag konti ang response, patuloy pa din ba siyang mangangaral?
Hindi tayo mag quit kapag tag-tuyot na.
D. TESTIFY IN PURITY
Mag ingat sa testimony, para walang matisod.
I Timothy 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
Hindi pwedeng turo lang tayo ng turo ng doctrine pero ang buhay natin ay taliwas.
Truth and testimony must walk together. Si Paul ay hindi lamang isang preacher na nag iwan ng mga sermon. Nag iwan siya ng mga totoong taong naturuan. At nawa habang buhay pa ako, meron pang maturuan.
Nawa sa church na ito, marami pa maging servants and may mga ma train pa.
