was formally organized by its founding father late Gregorio B. Labitad on April 13, 1988 when the same was formally registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. About 2 years prior to the formal organization of the church, late Gregorio B. Labitad was already preaching and started the ground work organizing churches in different places until his dream of registering the church became a
reality on April 13, 1988. Labitad became the first Supreme Executive Bishop of the church when he was elected to the position. The members of the church who served as informal missionaries embarked on church organizing such that at this point in time there are now 52 active churches all over Mindanao. The late Apostol Gregorio B. Labitad died on October 25, 1989. The board of Trustees and members of the church conducted an election to head the church in the person of Heliodoro C. Dayanan as Supreme Executive Bishop. And when an election was conducted by the Board of Trustees and members of the church again the new head in the person of Danny Moritcho was elected as Supreme Executive Bishop of the Lagda Church the Body of Christ Filipinista, Inc. After the term of Bishop Danny Moritcho as Supreme Executive Bishop of the church, the Board of Trustees and members of the church elected new Supreme Executive Bishop in the person of Bishop Nelson Anggot Ogsoc. And Bishop Nelson Anggot Ogsoc headed the church as Supreme Executive Bishop up to December 2012. Presently, the church was headed by Bishop Elmer Gomez Ogsoc as the Supreme Executive Bishop.
