Kinagabihan ng Linggo ding iyon, ang mga alagad ay nagkakatipon. Nakapinid ang mga pinto ng bahay na kanilang pinagtitipunan dahil sa takot nila sa mga Judio. Dumating si Hesus at tumayo sa gitna nila. โ€œSumainyo ang kapayapaan!โ€ sabi niya. Pagkasabi nito, ipinakita niya ang kanyang mga kamay at ang kanyang tagiliran. Tuwang-tuwa ang mga alagad nang makita ang Panginoon. Sinabi na naman ni Hesus, โ€œSumainyo ang kapayapaan! Kung paanong sinugo ako ng Ama, gayun din naman, sinusugo ko kayo.โ€ Pagkatapos, silaโ€™y hiningahan niya at sinabi, โ€œTanggapin ninyo ang Espiritu Santo. The National Shrine of Saint Padre Pio held a three-day spiritual preparation in celebration of the 139th Birthday of Padre Pio. On the first day of the Triduum Masses held on May 22, the Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Marcelino Antonio M. Maralit Jr., Bishop of San Pablo.

In his homily, ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ emphasized that the key to receiving Godโ€™s graces is none other than love. He reminded the faithful that love opens the heart to Godโ€™s mercy and strengthens oneโ€™s relationship with Him, especially through prayer and the Eucharist.

He further reflected that this was the very life lived by Padre Pio โ€” a life deeply rooted in love for God, devotion to the Holy Eucharist, and genuine compassion for others. Through his holiness, sacrifices, and unwavering faith, Padre Pio became a living witness of Christโ€™s love and mercy to countless people.

The celebration gathered devotees, pilgrims, and parishioners in prayer and thanksgiving as they continue to honor the life, spirituality, and legacy of Padre Pio.

The Mass sponsors for the day came from the barangays of San Jose, Sta. Elena, San Isidro Sur, and San Isidro Norte Bukana.
