Armor-bearer means a trusted soldier who carries a warrior's weapon and shield, provides protection during battles, and insists with his loyalty for his king and commander. In the modern context of this, it is a man dedicated to support Jesus Christ, to ensure the success of Jesus Christ' Ministry here on earth.

“He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken!”

We don’t have to wait for a miracle to believe, one Word from Him is enough to change our life’s situation. And When we hear the Word, we should not be ignorant or insensitive to it. Instead, we must recognize it as an opportunity God is giving us—an opportunity we should never waste. It’s not enough to simply hear the Word; we are called to live it out and apply it in our daily lives.

Moses was a crying leader. Since the Israelites kept on throwing him complaints about how long they’ve been in the wilderness and Moses, who was supposed to lead them out of it, got overwhelmed. Even with the amount of reassurance that God gave him, he still didn’t believe. In contrast, Joshua, whom God also spoke to, got assigned to lead the Israelites to the promise land after Moses died. He feared at first, but with the Word of God, his fear turned into courage because God promised him that He will never leave him nor forsake him. God also commanded him to be strong and courageous, and to meditate the Word day and night, and to be careful to do everything written in it. When Joshua was told all these things, he obeyed and he believed. He stood bravely as he lead the Israelites. And with God’s reassurance, he didn’t fear nor doubt.

We were reminded about the love that God has given us is the kind of love that no one else is able to give. A love that we don't deserve, a love that is costly, and a kind of love that renews. He expressed it by giving His one and only Son to die for us and wash away our sins; His overflowing love has given us salvation.
