In 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝟑:𝟏-𝟑𝟎, all the people were instructed to bow down before the gold image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up, and anyone who refused would be thrown into a blazing furnace. However, three brave men—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—refused to do so. They remained grounded and rooted in their faith, acknowledging that God alone is worthy of worship. While others chose to follow what was wrong, these three men knew what was right and whom they should serve.

This relates to the situation the world is facing today. Many people, especially teenagers, have become involved in various wrongdoings, but we should not allow ourselves to be influenced by the ways of the world. Instead, we should always 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙂𝙤𝙙’𝙨 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙𝙡𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙩, for it serves as our guide in living lives that glorify Him. 𝙅𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙣, 𝙬𝙚 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩. We should not let the things happening around us influence our minds and overcome what the Lord has planted in us. 𝓛𝓮𝓽 𝓾𝓼 𝓻𝓮𝓶𝓪𝓲𝓷 𝓻𝓸𝓸𝓽𝓮𝓭 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓰𝓻𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓭 𝓲𝓷 𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓯𝓪𝓲𝓽𝓱!

In 𝟐 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝟑:𝟏𝟔, it states that the Word can be used to 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩, 𝘳𝘦𝘣𝘶𝘬𝘦, 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵, and 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴. Scripture serves as an instruction for us to follow so that we may be 𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘸𝘦𝘥 and 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘥. Because of this, we should 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴 and 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 rather than remaining stone-hearted and prideful—thinking that we know better than Scripture and refusing to obey it. 𝙎𝙪𝙗𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙪𝙗𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙩.

We should also show humility toward one another by respecting, showing compassion to, and loving each other. 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙪𝙗𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙪𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙙.

Today, we were reminded that 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱. In 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝟐:𝟏𝟕, it says that 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲; 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Once the Word enters our ears, we should apply it and follow what it says, which results in obedience.

𝘎𝘰𝘥’𝘴 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩, 𝘸𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘺 𝘪𝘵.

We were also taught that prayer requires faith. In 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝟏𝟏:𝟐𝟒, it is written that when we ask God for something, we should believe that we have already received it. 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻.

Prayer Fellowship

1 Peter 5:7

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”

We should entrust all our worries, fears, and burdens to Him because He truly cares for us. Instead of letting fear control our hearts, we are called to trust Him and seek Him first in every situation.

𝚃𝚛𝚒𝚊𝚕𝚜 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚍𝚒𝚜𝚌𝚒𝚙𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚎 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚜𝚒𝚐𝚗𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝙶𝚘𝚍 𝚑𝚊𝚜 𝚊𝚋𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚘𝚗𝚎𝚍 𝚞𝚜. According to Hebrews 12:7–11, He allows difficulties because He loves us and is strengthening our faith. Faith is not only believing in God but also obeying His Word, praying, and trusting Him completely.

Let us choose 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙧 and entrust everything to the Lord. He is always near, and His peace comes when we place our burdens in His hands. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐮𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐬.

Today, we were told of 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐱𝐢𝐨𝐧. In 𝓛𝓾𝓴𝓮 𝟐𝟐:𝟒𝟐, Jesus was met with human fear and distress before getting sacrificed. He was determined to fulfill his mission yet was confronted by anguish. Although, 𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘮𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳’𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭—𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺. Due to his overflowing love, he chose to do it, not for his own benefit, but for 𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴. We were 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 yet 𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯. God let His one and only Son go through all of that to remind us of His 𝘢𝘣𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘵, 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘶𝘴.

We also learned that we should always go with God’s will instead of our own. Because 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘏𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘶𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴. We should always choose to trust and rely on God’s will for us.

In this day, we realized that whatever you sow—whether through your character, attitude, finances, or actions—is what you will reap. If you sow good, then, 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯, 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 will come to you. But if you sow bad, 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘱 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥. That is why we should always choose to do what is right, because whatever we do will eventually come back to us. It may be delayed, but it will surely arrive, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥, 𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘭.
