“STEP FORWARD IN INTEGRITY”
📖 1 Samuel 24
This Sunday, we were reminded that integrity is choosing what is right even when we have the opportunity to do what is wrong.
Through David's encounter with Saul, we saw a powerful example of restraint, honor, self-control, respect, godly leadership, and faith in the Lord.
David had the opportunity to hurt the very person who was pursuing him—but instead, he chose to honor God over his own feelings and circumstances. He trusted that God would handle what was beyond his control.
💡Integrity...
• Showing restraint when emotions tell us to react.
• Choosing honor and respect, even when others do not treat us well.
• Practicing self-control instead of giving in to anger or revenge.
• Leading with character, not merely position or power.
• Having faith in God's timing, knowing that we don't have to force what God has promised.

As we face difficult people, unfair situations, temptations, and moments when our emotions are tested,

•Choose restraint over retaliation.
•Choose honor over pride.
•Choose faith over fear.
•Choose God's way over our own.
When our character is tested, may our faith in God remain unshaken. As we're encouraged to pray for one another.🫂🙏☝️
