✨ Refocusing on What Truly Matters ✨

Last March 6, nearly 60 Young Single Adults from the San Pablo Stake gathered for a powerful day of worship at the Alabang Philippines Temple. 🏛️🤍

In a world that constantly demands our attention, we chose to shift our priorities. This trip was a deliberate move to put the Lord first and give time to the things that carry eternal weight. We were reminded that entering the temple isn’t just about helping our ancestors; it’s a sacred opportunity to serve Him and His children, to worship Him deeply, and to feel His eternal love for each of us.

By stepping into the House of the Lord, we traded the noise of the world for an eternal perspective, helping us find that vital balance between our spiritual and social lives.

We were especially blessed to have the entire Stake Presidency and their wives join us, standing as witnesses to the strength and devotion of our YSA family.

Truly, when we make room for the temple, we make room for peace. 🕊️

✨ Are you truly ready for the House of the Lord? ✨

In line with the upcoming Stake YSA Temple Trip this March 6, the San Pablo Stake Young Adults had an incredible YSA Workshop focused on Temple Preparedness last night, and the insights shared were truly life-changing! We were honored to have President Ronnel Catungos as our guest speaker, who helped us see the temple not just as a destination, but as a vital part of our eternal progression.

President Catungos took us on a deep dive into how our current stage of life—our age and unique circumstances—directly correlates with our personal and spiritual growth. He reminded us that the ordinances we receive in the temple are the keys to unlocking our divine potential. 🗝️

We also had a very practical and open discussion on the Temple Recommend Interview: Understanding the "why" behind the questions, and some of the General Handbook Guidelines: Navigating the standards that keep us on the covenant path.

This workshop served as a reminder to keep moving forward on that covenant path, making the House of the Lord a priority in our lives.👣⛰️

The San Pablo Stake Young Single Adults Organization honors another great missionary who will be serving in California Anaheim Mission! He will begin his training at the Missionary Training Center in February 2026. His service stands as a powerful testament to his faith in Christ and his dedication to sharing the fulness of the gospel.

We are certain the Lord will direct his path and strengthen his work in the mission field. While he blesses those he meets, he'll also grow in profound ways. The San Pablo YSAs are proud to support him and celebrate his commitment to serving. 🤍

Love, laughter, and a little bit of surprise filled the night as the San Pablo Stake YSAs gathered for the Acoustic Valentine’s Party last night! Some arrived with their chosen dates, while others bravely embraced the fun of being paired with blind dates on the spot.

After meeting their partners, couples were given thoughtful questions to spark meaningful conversations and help them get to know one another better. The excitement continued with a paper dance game that brought smiles and friendly competition, along with a photo booth to capture the memories of the evening.

Slow dances set the mood, and the night was made even more special with heartfelt performances from the Aurora Band, adding music and magic to the celebration.

An unforgettable evening of connection, courage, and wholesome fun—proving that sometimes the best moments happen when we simply say yes to the experience. 🤍✨

Yesterday, the Young Single Adults of the San Pablo Stake gathered for a rebroadcast devotional with Elder and Sister Kearon, filled with messages of hope, healing, and renewed faith.

The devotional invited us to reflect on overcoming roadblocks that hinder us from fully feeling God’s love and encouraged us to reach out with compassion to friends who may be drifting from the Church. Powerful insights were shared about understanding the Atonement of Jesus Christ—not only as doctrine to believe in, but as a gift to personally apply in our daily lives. We were also reminded that joy can be found even amid uncertainty, and that blessings flow as we choose to attend Institute and continue “singing the song of redeeming love.”

Following the rebroadcast, the YSAs of the San Pablo Stake engaged in thoughtful group discussions, sharing impressions, realizations, and personal applications drawn from the messages. A question-and-answer portion was then conducted, allowing participants to further deepen their understanding and strengthen their testimonies.

It was a spiritually enriching gathering—one that reminded us that no matter the obstacles we face, the Lord’s love remains constant, His Atonement is sufficient, and joy is always within reach when we turn to Him. 🤍

The Young Single Adults of the San Pablo Stake participated in a meaningful workshop last Wednesday on Modest Dress and Appearance held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The activity emphasized the importance of intentionally presenting ourselves with dignity and respect, whether in dating, social settings, or everyday interactions, as a reflection of our divine identity and discipleship.

We were grateful to be taught by Sister April Dawn Ibo, Stake Relief Society President, whose inspired message invited participants to view modesty not merely as outward appearance, but as a conscious expression of values, self-worth, and respect for others.

Also present were President Nephi Basco, First Counselor of the Stake Presidency, together with his wife, and Brother Arvin Maligon, High Councilor assigned to the YSAs, whose support further enriched the learning environment.

This workshop served as a timely reminder that how we present ourselves can invite the Spirit, strengthen relationships, and honor the covenants we strive to live each day. 🤍
