First Youth Banquet of Metro San Pablo District 2 Inspires Hope, Faith, and Patience

In a heartwarming celebration of faith, hope, and patience, the first Youth Banquet of the Metro San Pablo District 2 led by the Adventist Youth Ministries was unfolded, leaving attendees inspired and uplifted.

With the resonating theme "Puhon: In God's Perfect Time," the program served as a great reminder of the power of divine timing of God in achieving success in everything we ask to Him. “Puhon" is a word from Visayas that means someday. This expression is said when you are hoping something will happen in the future.

The banquet, held at Sta. Isabel Adventist Elementary School, brought together youth outside and inside the district.

Pastor Cesar Aguilar, the guest speaker, shared personal stories and insights, highlighting the importance of trust and faith in navigating life's journey.

"God is the writer of our story", he stated as he reminds the youth about how important it is to wait for His perfect time.

As the night ended, everyone felt hopeful and determined. With renewed faith and purpose, attendees left the banquet hall ready to chase their dreams or their 'puhons' with strong resolve.

The success of this year's Youth Banquet shows how resilient and hopeful young people are. In a world full of uncertainty, there is one thing that gives hope, uplifts the faith, and encourages to be patient and that is God's perfect time.

Puhon, may God's perfect will and timing align with our hopes and dreams.

Hillsdale Seventh-day Adventist Church with the whole Metro San Pablo District 2 are thrilled to commemorate the 160th anniversary of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This is a remarkable achievement for our faith and worldwide community. We praise God for His direction and grace throughout the years.
