FWC Atisan Celebration Sunday

What an amazing time of worship, learning, and commissioning!

📖 We were introduced to the 8-Step Process for the Celebration Program, equipping us to build stronger and more intentional church gatherings.

🎤 We also received a powerful new teaching by Kyuri, reminding us to continue growing as faithful disciples and leaders.

🙏 A special moment was the Commissioning of our New Church Planters and Apprentices:
• Jhonel
• John Paul
• Jamaica.
• Johndel
• Malen

We also celebrate the Commissioning of Jhondel Recto as the new Apprentice Pastor under Ptr. Rolly. May God continue to strengthen, guide, and use them mightily for His Kingdom.

Congratulations to everyone who answered God's call! May we all remain faithful in making disciples and advancing His mission.

We love seeing our young people gathering in their own House Church!

Jane aka “Upay” 15 yrs old and Sam are faithfully leading our Youth House Church, helping young people grow in their faith and learn to make disciples.

Our prayer is that this is just the beginning—that God will raise up many more young leaders who will lead house churches and reach their generation with the gospel

Celebrating one of our house church leaders who is faithfully serving in Japan - Khenjie Balmes.

Today, he had the privilege of baptizing a young man after sharing the gospel with him. Upon hearing the Good News, he eagerly chose to put his faith in Christ and expressed his desire to be baptized.

With no river or pool nearby, they used a bathtub in Khenjies home—a beautiful reminder that it’s not about the place, but about a life transformed by Jesus.

The gospel knows no borders. God is at work, one life at a time. 🙌

Had a great Celebration Sunday today at FWC Atisan!

We also officially launched our House Church 8-Step Process series for this month with the theme “Una sa Lahat” (Above All) based on Matthew 6:33.

It was such a refreshing time of worship, fellowship, and learning together. I’m also excited to see new house churches starting, with Ma. Jamaica Dimple, Johndel, and Paul stepping up to lead. Praying for lives to be transformed as we continue making disciples.

God is truly good!

House Church Champion

For nearly six years, Kyuri has faithfully served as my apprentice pastor and has become one of the key leaders behind our house church movement in Atisan.

What began as a willingness to learn and serve has grown into a ministry that has impacted many lives. Over the years, she has planted several house churches and apprenticed numerous leaders among young people, young professionals, and adults. Through her leadership, many have discovered that they too can facilitate meaningful spiritual communities in their homes and neighborhoods.

Kyuri is also one of our primary trainers for small groups, teaching gospel-sharing tools and our 8-Step Process for house church facilitation. She has helped equip countless leaders with the confidence and skills needed to lead simple, reproducible, and disciple-making communities.

One of the things I appreciate most about Kyuri is her commitment to multiplication. She doesn’t just lead a house church—she develops leaders who can lead others. She understands that the mission is not merely to gather people but to make disciples who make disciples.

Because of her faithful investment in people, many house churches have been planted, new leaders have emerged, and the gospel continues to spread throughout our communities.

Kyuri is truly a champion of the house church movement. Her life is a reminder that when ordinary believers faithfully invest in others, God can use them to make an extraordinary impact for His Kingdom.

Thank you, Kyuri, for your faithfulness, leadership, and heart for disciple-making. We are grateful for the role you play in helping advance God’s mission through simple, reproducible house churches.

Kristine is one of the many house church leaders in our network whose story continues to inspire us.

A few years ago, her husband was tragically murdered in Atisan. It was a painful season, yet even in the midst of grief and loss, she chose to continue following and serving the Lord.

When we first shared our vision for house churches, Kristine was one of those who had many questions and doubts. She was even unsure if she could ever lead a house church herself. Yet she faithfully attended our weekly house church facilitation training and was mentored by Kyuri as an apprentice leader.

Then one day, she surprised me.

She said, “Pastor, I’m not only enjoying leading a house church—I’m seeing the beauty of it. The intimacy, the relationships, and the way people genuinely care for one another have made a deep impact on me and everyone in the group.”

Today, Kristine leads several house churches. And yesterday, she shared even more exciting news: she has started a new house church in her parents’ home!

What makes this even more remarkable is that her parents are not yet believers. Yet they have opened their home for a house church gathering. What an amazing testimony of God’s work through an ordinary person who simply said “yes” to Him.

From doubt to discipleship. From grief to ministry. From being trained to planting new house churches.

God is truly at work, and stories like Kristine’s remind us that He can use anyone who is willing to take the next step of faith.
