As we attend the mass, little we know that God changes us. As we also receive the Holy Eucharist we receive Christ in our hearts, minds, and in our lives.

If we surrender and truly offer ourselves before the Lord, He will accept us and make us new. He will change and give us new heart - a heart that thinks, discerns, and listens.

God said in Ezekiel 36: 26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh".

It is undeniable that technology has revolutionized the way that we live today. Technology has become one of our main ways to communicate with other people. We cannot deny the fact, that technology can sometime cause us to forget our faith, but we shouldn’t worry, because through technology, we can still express our faith in Him and share our faith to more people.

Technology is here to stay, let us use it for God’s glory.

Technology is there, to assist us and bring great advancement and innovation. It is indeed a very good servant to the humankind, it makes life easier. However, even though it brings beauty, it can also be a source of danger and destroy humanity.

We can always use technology for betterment of the world. Sharing kindness, gospel and salvation, and especially the love of God.

During the pandemic, technology provided a way for people to stay engaged with their faith communities and feel connected while being physically apart,” says Jamie Adams, chief information technology officer at Lifeway. Virtually every expert agreed this was a benefit to church leaders and churchgoers provided by technology. Yet, most also acknowledged the ways in which this increased the tendency of some to move from regular, in-person participation with a local body of believers to sporadic viewing of the worship service.

Let us be the light in our time by disseminating the teachings of God!

Disclaimer: In spite of everything being done online. We must need to understand that attending mass online is not the same as being both spiritually and physically present to God in the same place where He becomes sacramentally present to us. As a general rule, Catholics are obliged to attend Mass each Sunday. It complies with the Third Commandment. It is not enough to simply watch mass online to meet the obligation. A Catholic must go to mass at a parish church or chapel if they may reasonably do so.

Carlo Acutis, an Italian Catholic adolescent who was born in England and trained as a computer designer, was most known for compiling a list of all known Eucharistic miracles before dying due to leukemia on October 12, 2006.

He was known for his positive attitude, proficiency with computers, and intense devotion to the Eucharist, which became a recurring theme in his life. The day before the 14th anniversary of his passing, October 10, 2020, saw his beatification. Since the beatification ceremony on October 10, 2020, somber throngs have been passing by the exposed remains of the blessed youth in the church of Santa Maria Maggiore, once Assisi's cathedral.

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

DID YOU KNOW?

Saint Januarius is famous for the annual liquefaction of his blood, which, according to legend, was saved by a woman called Eusebia just after the saint's death. The Church believes that the miracle takes place in response to the dedication and prayers of the faithful. When the miracle occurs, the mass of reddish dried blood, adhering to one side of the ampoule, turns into completely liquid blood, covering the glass from side to side, and usually this happens three times a year.

Several investigations have previously been done in the past to establish a scientific explanation that addresses the mystery of how something solid may abruptly liquefy, but none have proved satisfactory so far.

The Catholic community celebrates the feast of Saint Januarius every 19th of September.
