NAGHAHANAP KA BA ng
SECURITY, STABILITY at SUSTAINABILITY
sa BUHAY?

"Tungkol sa akin, sinabi ko sa panahon ng aking kasaganaan, "Hindi ako matitinag kailanman.” Sa pamamagitan ng iyong paglingap, O Panginoon, ginawa mong matibay ang aking bundok; ikinubli mo ang iyong mukha, ako ay natakot." - Awit 30:6-7

Ang kayamanan, kapangyarihan, at katanyagan ay maaaring nakalalasing, na nagpapadama sa atin na umaasa sa sarili, tiwala sa sarili, at independyente sa Diyos.

Ngunit ang maling seguridad na ito ay madaling masira. Huwag makulong sa huwad na seguridad ng kasaganaan.

Umasa sa Diyos para sa iyong seguridad, at hindi ka matitinag kahit na ikaw ay mawalan ng mga makamundong ari-arian.

Ang Kabutihan ng Paghihintay

"Nananatili akong tiwala dito: Makikita ko ang kabutihan ng Panginoon sa lupain ng mga buhay. Maghintay sa Panginoon; magpakatatag ka at lakasan ang loob at maghintay sa Panginoon." - Awit 27:13-14

"Ang paghihintay sa Diyos ay hindi madali. Kadalasan ay tila hindi niya sinasagot ang ating mga panalangin o nauunawaan ang pagkaapurahan ng ating mga sitwasyon. Ang ganitong uri ng pag-iisip ay nagpapahiwatig na ang Diyos ay walang kontrol o hindi patas.

Ngunit ang Diyos ay karapat-dapat na hintayin. Ang Panaghoy 3:24-26 ay tumatawag sa atin na umasa at maghintay sa Panginoon; Kadalasang ginagamit ng Diyos ang mga oras ng paghihintay para sariwain, panibaguhin, at turuan tayo.

Gamitin nang mabuti ang iyong mga oras ng paghihintay sa pamamagitan ng pagtuklas kung ano ang maaaring sinusubukang gawin ng Diyos sa iyo habang ikaw ay nasa panahon ng paghihintay." - Chronological Life Application Study Bible, p. 561

Personal Reflection:
Ang paghihintay ay dapat gawin habang nagsisikap na manahan sa presensya ng Diyos at hinahanap ang Kanyang mukha araw-araw. Ang tunay na paghihintay sa Panginoon ay nangyayari kapag Siya ay naging layunin ng ating pagnanais kaysa sa mga bagay na ating kailangan o gusto.

What is sin?

The Bible portrays sin for what it is: that which has come between Creator and the human and brought the gulf between God and the human race. The gulf is so vast and unbridgeable by human that God had to send His Son Jesus (John 3:16) "to be sin" for us so that " in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them" (2 Corinthians 5:21,19).

Sin is revolt against God.
Sin is a broken relationship with God.
Sin is a state that pervades the whole human being.
Sin is a specific act of evil.
Sin is falling short of God's expectation.
Sin is lawlessness.
Sin is selfishness and pride.
Sin is an enslaving power.
Sin is guilt and pollution.

FOCUS ON GOD and the THINGS OF GOD...

Brethren and sisters, it is by beholding that we become changed. By dwelling upon the love of God and our Saviour, by contemplating the perfection of the divine character and claiming the righteousness of Christ as ours by faith, we are to be transformed into the same image.

Then let us not gather together all the unpleasant pictures—the iniquities and corruptions and disappointments, the evidences of Satan's power—to hang in the halls of our memory, to talk over and mourn over until our souls are filled with discouragement.

A discouraged soul is a body of darkness, not only failing himself to receive the light of God, but shutting it away from others.

Satan loves to see the effect of the pictures of his triumphs, making human beings faithless and disheartened.

Jesus Miracle to Pay the Tax

Reflection:
"Looking for a coin in the mouth of the fish is way better than catching and eating the fish."

"Essentially, it is better to obey God according to His will, in His specific details and witness His miracles, than to gain the world and its riches but moving contrary or away from Him."
