Knowledge is valuable.

But knowledge alone has never been the evidence of spiritual maturity.

A person can quote Scripture, understand doctrine, and explain biblical principles—yet still resist what God is asking them to do.

The Pharisees knew the Law better than most.
Yet knowledge without obedience left their hearts unchanged.

God is not impressed by how much truth you can repeat.

He is concerned with how much truth you are willing to obey.

Maturity is revealed when correction is received.
When conviction is followed.
When truth becomes action.

The difference between hearing and growing is response.

Many people know what is right.

Far fewer consistently do it.

Spiritual maturity is measured by response, not knowledge.

What you do with truth matters more than what you know.

A person can genuinely love someone without supporting everything that person does.

For example, someone may care deeply about a friend while encouraging them to stop smoking because it is harmful to their health. That encouragement does not mean they hate the person.

In the same way, a Christian may love someone while also encouraging them to turn away from what they believe Scripture identifies as sin, including homosexuality. That does not mean they hate the individual. From this perspective, love does not require affirming every belief or behavior.

Everyone has sinful inclinations, but having those inclinations does not mean a person must act on them.

For example, a person who struggles with anger was not created to become a murderer simply because they experience anger. Likewise, someone who experiences same-sex attraction was not necessarily created to identify as or live as a homosexual simply because they experience those attractions.

Ultimately, this perspective holds that these ideas cannot be fully understood apart from the gospel of Jesus Christ. Without first understanding the gospel, discussions about God's design for humanity are likely to be misunderstood.

For those who genuinely want to discuss the topic with mutual respect, a thoughtful and healthy conversation is always welcome.

At panghuli…

Huwag agad maniwala.

Buksan mo ang Biblia.

Basahin ang konteksto.

Suriin ang kabuuang mensahe.

At itanong…

At tandaan mo…

The World will teach. Will we?

‎The world around us is changing rapidly. At patunay dito ay ang reyalidad na sa maraming paaralan ngayon, topics such as gender identity, sexual orientation, and inclusion are becoming more visible and more frequently discussed.

‎And if your desire is to raise children who know and follow God, this question has probably crossed your mind:

‎And behind that question lies a powerful and undeniable truth:

‎We are not called to fear the culture. We are here and we are called for this purpose—ihanda ang ating mga anak na mamuhay sa gitna nito ng may katotohanan at pag-ibig.

‎In Deuteronomy 6:6-7, God commands parents to diligently teach His Word to their children throughout the day.

‎At sa totoo lang, if we don't intentionally shape our children's hearts and minds to God's Word, the world will do it for us.

‎If we don't disciple our children, the culture will.

‎Scripture teaches that God created humanity as male and female (Genesis 1:27), and that His design for marriage is the covenant union between one man and woman (Genesis 2:24).

‎This means that we can stand firmly in biblical truth while treating every person with dignity, compassion, and respect.

‎Recognizing that every human is created in the image of God and is in need of His saving grace.

‎To equip our children to stand firm in biblical truth is more than simply telling them what is right and wrong. It also means helping them know God, love His Word, and live by His truth everyday.

‎After all, our goal is not to raise fearful children, but faithful followers of Christ—children who know the truth, live by it, and reflect His love to the world.

‎Let us teach them biblical truth at home before the world defines it for them.

‎"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it" -Proverbs 22:6

Too often, we treat worship like a transaction—as if praising God is the price we pay for the blessings we hope to receive.

But biblical worship begins with gratitude, not bargaining.

We don’t worship Jesus because life is easy or because we always get what we ask for. We worship Him because He is worthy. He loved us while we were still sinners, died for us, rose again, and gave us the greatest gift of all: salvation.

Every blessing we receive is an expression of His grace, not the reason He deserves our praise.

The cross was enough to make Him worthy of our worship, even if it had been the only blessing we ever received. 🤍🙏🏻
