🌊 “Do Not Be Afraid — Jesus Is the Calm Amid the Storm” 🌧️
In these trying times as our beloved Philippines faces the harsh winds and heavy rains of Super Typhoon Uwan, many of us may feel fear, uncertainty, and sorrow. Some homes have been damaged, families displaced, and communities shaken yet in the middle of all this chaos, one truth remains unshaken Jesus is with us.
The Bible reminds us that storms are part of life. God never said we wouldn’t face them, but He did promise that He would be our peace in the midst of the storm. Even when the winds howl and the waves rise, His voice whispers to our hearts, “Do not be afraid.”
Just as He calmed the storm for His disciples, He can calm the storms within us today — the fear, the anxiety, and the pain. His power is greater than any typhoon, and His love is a shelter that no storm can destroy.
“He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed.” – Psalm 107:29
Let us hold on to that promise. Let our faith be stronger than our fear. May we find comfort knowing that in every disaster, God’s presence is our refuge, and His peace is our anchor.⚓️
Even in the storm, Jesus is our calm.
Even in the darkness, His light still shines.
So take heart DO NOT be afraid. God is with us, always. 🙏
