Sa bawat pag-ikot ng taon ng iyong buhay, hindi lamang edad ang nadaragdagโ€”kundi biyaya, grasya, at lalim ng iyong paglakad kasama ang Diyos.

Nawaโ€™y patuloy kang maging ilaw sa gitna ng dilim, isang tinig ng pag-asa sa gitna ng ingay ng mundo, at isang pusong nananatiling tapat sa Kanya na unang umibig sa atin.

Ang iyong buhay ay hindi aksidenteโ€”ito ay bokasyon.
Isang paanyaya na mahalin, maglingkod, at maging saksi ng Kanyang kabutihan.

On this day, April 28 in the year 1702, the San Carlos Seminary was established.

The Royal and Conciliar San Carlos Seminary is the archdiocesan seminary of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila. It was established in the year 1702, by decree of King Philip V of Spain. At present, the institution houses seminarians belonging to various dioceses in Luzon, particularly from the Metro Manila region.

Let us pray for more vocation to priesthood!

Isang tahimik na bulong sa pusoโ€ฆ
Isang pagnanais na maglingkodโ€ฆ
Isang paanyaya na ialay ang buhay para sa Diyos at sa Kanyang Simbahanโ€ฆ

Huwag matakot. Ang Panginoon ay patuloy na tumatawagโ€”

Maligayang Kaarawan, Father Efren Reyes! ๐ŸŽ‰

Ang inyong buhay bilang pari ay isang buhay na patotoo ng pag-ibig ni Kristoโ€”patuloy na gumagabay, nagtuturo, at humuhubog ng mga bokasyon sa kababaang-loob at pananampalataya. Sa inyong โ€œooโ€ sa tawag ng Diyos, marami ang nahihikayat na makinig at tumugon sa Kanyang panawagan.

Nawaโ€™y patuloy kayong pagpalain ng Panginoon ng mabuting kalusugan, kagalakan, at sigasig sa inyong paglilingkod. Nawaโ€™y patuloy kayong ingatan ng Mahal na Birheng Maria sa ilalim ng kanyang mapagkalingang pag-aaruga, at lalo pang mamunga ang inyong bokasyon para sa Simbahan.

NOVEMBER 26 | RED WEDNESDAY

Today we stand in solidarity with persecuted Christians around the world.
In unity with the CBCP and the global Church, we wear red, pray, and remember those who suffer for their faith.
May our witness shine with courage, compassion, and hope.

Lord God,

On this Red Wednesday, we remember our brothers and sisters who suffer persecution because of their faith in You. Strengthen them with courage, protect them with Your loving hand, and fill their hearts with hope and endurance.

May the witness of modern-day martyrs inspire us to live our faith with greater conviction. Move us to pray, to speak for the voiceless, and to stand for religious freedom with compassion and truth.

Lord, make us instruments of peace, justice, and solidarity.
May the blood of the martyrs be the seed of a more faithful and united Church.

Amen.
