What a beautiful and humbling experience it has been to serve in our recently concluded Vacation Bible School. From simply carrying a vision in our hearts—to let the kids “taste and see” the goodness of God—to planning lessons, games, activities, and themes, we truly witnessed God move every step of the way.
Why do we do this?
Because we believe that God deeply loves the little children, and He calls us to plant seeds of faith in their hearts while they are young.🤸♀️
“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belong the kingdom of heaven.” — Matthew 19:14🧒
Mahalaga ang VBS. Mahalaga na makilala ng mga bata si Lord sa maagang panahon bago pa sila maagaw ng kamunduhan. It’s important that they hear His voice first before they get soaked up in the noise of this world.
For two and a half days, the children learned powerful Bible stories:
✨ How God provides even when things seem impossible (Manna and Quail)
✨ How to stand for godly convictions even when everyone else chooses wrong (Daniel and the Vegetables)
✨ How God can use our lack to perform miracles (Elijah and the Widow)
✨ How Jesus gave His body and blood for our atonement and commanded us to remember Him through communion
✨ And finally, how He lovingly invites us to His Great Banquet—and He doesn’t want us to miss it for the world.
And true to our theme, the kids also got to literally “taste and see” God's goodness and joy! One of the blockbuster highlights of Day 2 was when they assembled their own cupcakes and enjoyed their refreshing ice scramble treats — t'was indeed a delicious day! 😄🍧🧁
Special thanks to our hardworking kitchen staff and the Ministry of Help for lovingly preparing and serving everything behind the scenes. Your service brought so much joy to the kids and made the experience even more memorable.😍
We are so proud and thankful for this team of teachers and volunteers—some of them “mga laking VBS” din . While others are first time volunteers. Grabe yung pouring out of themselves despite lack of training, lack of time, lack of sleep, and even lack of motivation at first. Yet God proved once again that He can use anyone. He does not require expertise, perfect skills, or complete readiness to fulfill His purposes. He simply asks for obedience—even if our commitment starts small.
“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.” — Colossians 3:23
Lastly, we are deeply grateful to God for all the sponsors and generous hearts who gave sacrificially so we could give these children a joyful experience that may forever become part of their core memories—AT NO COST. LIBRE! FREE!😍🙌
Because we ourselves received God’s grace freely, we also freely give.
Special thank you even to the church kids who saved up their own coins just so more children in the community could come and experience VBS.
Sa Inyo po, O Diyos, ang lahat ng papuri at pasasalamat! 🙌❤️
