Jesus reveals His heart of sacrificial care. Unlike hired hands who abandon the flock in danger, the Good Shepherd protects, guides, and even gives His life for His sheep. This verse points us to the cross, where Christ’s love was fully displayed. It reminds us that we are not wandering alone—our Shepherd knows us, guards us, and secures our eternal safety through His sacrifice.

Sa buhay natin, marami tayong nararanasang pagbabago. May mga panahon ng kasiyahan at mayroon ding panahon ng kalungkutan. May mga tao tayong nakakasama ngayon ngunit maaaring mawala rin balang araw. Ang lakas ng ating katawan ay unti-unting humihina, at ang mga bagay na akala natin ay permanente ay nawawala rin sa paglipas ng panahon. Totoo nga po na ang mundong ito ay pansamantala lamang.

Sabi nga sa aklat ni Isaiah, ang tao ay parang damo lamang at ang kanyang kagandahan ay tulad ng bulaklak sa parang. Ang damo ay natutuyo at ang bulaklak ay nalalanta. Ganyan din po ang buhay natin dito sa mundo—lahat ay may katapusan. Ang kayamanan, kasikatan, at maging ang lakas ng tao ay hindi magtatagal magpakailanman. Kaya kung sa mga bagay lamang ng mundong ito tayo kakapit, madali tayong panghihinaan at mawawalan ng pag-asa kapag dumating ang mga pagsubok.

Habang ang mundo ay pabago-bago, ang Salita ng Diyos ay hindi nagbabago. Kapag tayo ay nalulungkot, nagbibigay ito ng kaaliwan. Kapag tayo ay nanghihina, nagbibigay ito ng lakas. Kapag tayo ay naliligaw ng landas, ito ang nagsisilbing ilaw at gabay sa ating buhay. Kaya mahalaga na hindi lamang natin ito binabasa kundi isinasabuhay din natin araw-araw.

Lagi nating tandaan na ang lahat ng bagay sa mundong ito ay lilipas, ngunit ang Salita ng Diyos ay mananatili magpakailanman. Kaya patuloy
tayong kumapit sa Kanya, magtiwala sa Kanyang mga pangako,
at gawing gabay ang Kanyang Salita sa ating pang-araw-araw
na pamumuhay. Sapagkat ang taong nakasandig sa Diyos ay
may katiyakan, kapayapaan, at pag-asang walang hanggan.
