SUNDAY SERVICE RECAP

BEST LEGACY THAT WE COULD PASS ON

3 BEST LEGACY
1. The Legacy of Godly Character
2. The Legacy of Lasting Faith
3. The Legacy of Ministry

“LASTING LEGACY THROUGH CHARACTER”
Pamanang Nagtatagal sa Pamamagitan ng Character.
(Mdme. Blangiroth Ramos)

In the view of this world, kilala ka
If you have the MONEY, the SUCCESS, the RECOGNITION

BUT, the scripture tells us na ang LEGACY
-it is not something you leave after you die
-Bagkus it is something you build while you live

God has never been impressed by popularity.
God has always been concerned with the heart.

The question is not about how many people know your name.
The real question is Does you heart know God?

God is more concerned with who we are becoming than what we are achieving.

Did we do it in God’s way para maachieve and isang bagay? Or it is just our own way.

The first higlighted topi kakabsat, iso ajay
1. CHARACTER IS FORMED THROUGH DAILY DECISION.
-Ginawa pong example dito ay sina Joseph and Potiphar’s wife.
-though Potiphar’s wife persistently seduced Joseph, Joseph chose integrity over temptation.
- Joseph’s response demonstrate yung deep moral character and commitment even no one is looking.
- so tayo as christian, paano ung character natin kapag walang nakakakita sa atin?
- yung decision natin kung sasakay ba tayo sa temptation o lalabanan natin, doon nafoform yung character natin.
-before God entrusted Joseph a palace, He tested him in prison.

Many people want Joseph’s success without discipline
They want the crown without the character
Others want promotion without preparation
But Joseph’s story teaches us na yung character natin ngayon ay prineprepare tayo for God’s assignment tomorrow.

2.CHARACTER IS PROVEN IN PRESSURE

So our character keeps us steady when pressure pulls us into wrong direction.

We decide our values before temptation comes
We set boundaries before emotions get involved
We choose obedience before compromise feels convenient

3.CHARATER MEANS STANDING FIRM EVEN OTHERS GIVE IN
-still in the book of Daniel po. But specifically sa part nila Shadrach, Meshach at Abednego noong ippupunta sila sa naglalagablab na pogon.
-ang hinighlight po dito ay yung way of refusal nila Shadrach, Meshach at Abednego na magworship sa golden statue.
- their refusal is not loud, not rebelious and not disrespectful
- it was calm, it was steady, it was rooted in conviction.
-faith that chooses obedience over comfort
-faith that chooses loyalty over survival
-faith that chooses conviction over convinience

-These three shows that God’s worthiness does not change base on circumstances
- God is worthy of worship even deliverance is delayed or denied.
-character is not proven when obedience is easy, it is proven when it costs something

4. THE ULTIMATE MODEL OF CHARACTER IS JESUS
-if we do not understand true character, tingin lang po tayo sa ating Panginoong Hesu Kristo.
-Jesus is not only our savior but a perfect example
-before He preach a sermon, before He performed miracle or went to cross, nadevelop muna ang character niya over time.
-He learned, Listen and submitted into instruction.
-character includes how we think as Jesus grew in wisdom.
-character requires discipline
- Jesus’ character is seen on how he treated people.
-so paano natin trinatrato ang kapwa natin?
-wala ba tayong pakealam sa kapwa natin?
Wala ba tayong concern o pagmamahal?

Lastly, if we follow Christ’s example, we will grow into lives that leave a lasting legacy.

A lasting legacy is built in daily faithfulness.

KEEP THE FIRE GOING:
THE THREEFOLD PENTECOSTAL LEGACY

PENTECOSTAL LEGACY
- The Pentecostal legacy is a heritage passed on to us. It is not just about emotion or expression, but about living a life empowered by the Holy Spirit.

The Threefold Pentecostal Legacy
1. POWER
Acts 1:8
The first legacy is power. This power comes from the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It is not human strength but God’s power (dunamis) that transforms lives.
Peter, once fearful, became bold after receiving the Holy Spirit. True Pentecostal power is seen in obedience, courage, and a changed life.

2. HEALING
The second legacy is healing. The Holy Spirit heals not only the body, but also the heart and mind.
God is close to the brokenhearted. Our weakness is not rejected by God but He meets us there and restores us.

3. MISSION
Acts 1:8
The third legacy is mission. We are empowered and healed so we can be sent as witnesses.
Our mission starts with our family, friends, and community. Pentecostal faith is not only about receiving it is about going.

Conclusion
The Pentecostal legacy is threefold: power to live boldly, healing to be made whole, and mission to be sent. Let us keep the fire going through a life fully surrendered to the Holy Spirit.

"THE GREAT COMMISSION"
Speaker: Ptr. Brent Sabado

Matthew 28: 18-20

Baton Lagip- Pamana, Heritage, Legacy

Who commissioned it? Jesus
What is the mission? Make Disciple
Where? Acts 1:8

How? LEARNING IT IN JESUS WAY
#1: Transformational - it is able to produce Big change
Before we can change the world, the Gospel must change us- Hindi lang simpleng improvement, because when Jesus met people they didn't just feel better but they became new

•John 1:43-44 where Lazarus came to life
• John 1 47-49 when Jesus met Nathanael, Jesus saw into his soul
• Mark 5:26-28 just the touch of Jesus cloak she was healed

Learning Point: GUSTO MONG BAGUHIN ANG MUNDO?
Your mission starts at home-- within your heart
If you wnat to see the world transformed- you must let Jesus transformed you first

You are your own Jerusalem
Your transformation must start with you & Jesus

#2: Relational-kinship or relationship
The Great Commission is not a corporate mandate- it is a relational invitation

Dito pumapasok yung word na LOVE
WE SERVE BECAUSE WE LOVE
1 John 4:19- we love because He first love us

• John 21- when Peter had failed because he denied Jesus, bumalik siyang mangingisda

But....
What did Jesus has done?
• Jesus didn't give him punishments or lectures but He gave him breakfast and tinanong ni Lord ng tatlong beses kung mahal ba niya si Lord

Our mission is not a job description!

Learning Checkpoint: Yung relationship natin kay Lord inilalagay ka sa posisyon "To imitate Him"
• You can't feed His sheep if you don't know the sheperd
• You cannot be a witness to stranger if you are stranger to the Savior

The Mission moves:
• through friendship
• through kindness
• through genuine kinship

CONCLUSION:
As we close the word "CO-MISSION"- is not a solo-mission, hindi lang para sa mga Pstors or Leaders
But... It is the mission of many
• Para sa'yo, sa katabi mo and the Holy Spirit

The GOAL: bring more souls to JESUS

TODAY, yung Baton ay nasa harapan mo. Isang pamana na nanggagaling sa Panginoon mismo
• Will you let Him transform your Jerusalem?
• Let's Carry the baton and Let's finish the race!!

We will continue what He started.

Elijah & Elisha
1. Elijah the predecessor
2. Elisha the successor
3. The turnover

God bless us all as always, in all ways!

The celebration doesn’t end. We are taking the spirit of Christmas further, turning our faith into motion and our gratitude into service. Witnessing the goodness of God through every smile and every act of kindness. We are extending the season of giving because His love knows no bounds.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Almighty God for His overflowing grace and for being the ultimate source of our victory this season. This celebration extension would not have been possible without the generosity of our sponsors, whose hearts for giving have truly brought "Joy in Action" to life. Together, we have made this a Christmas to remember, all for His honor and glory!

SUNDAY SERMON RECAP - November 23, 2025

Message: Pstra. Leticia Oyasan

The Parable of the Wedding Banquet (Matthew 22:1-14)

• This parable illustrates God's invitation to salvation and how people respond to it.

Key Elements and Their Meanings

• King: Represents God, who initiates the invitation out of love.

• Wedding Banquet: Symbolizes the Kingdom of Heaven and the joy of being in God's presence.

• Invitation: Represents God's call to salvation, offered to everyone.

• Those Invited (Initially): Represent the Israelites, who were the first to receive God's invitation.

• Excuses: Symbolize the reasons people reject God's invitation, such as worldly concerns (wealth, job, personal priorities).

• Second Invitation (to Everyone): Represents God's grace extending salvation to all people, not just a select group.

• Wedding Garment: Symbolizes the righteousness and faith required to enter God's Kingdom.

• Consequences: Represent the judgment for those who reject God's invitation or try to enter without the proper "garment."

Synoptic Gospels

• The synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) present similar accounts of Jesus's life and teachings from a same point of view.

• They use similar wording and cover many of the same events, allowing them to be "seen together" for comparison.

• However, each Gospel also has its unique perspectives, details, and stories.

"Adu ti Maayaban, Ngem Bassit ti Mapili" (Many are Called, But Few are Chosen)

• This phrase highlights the fact that while God invites everyone to salvation, not everyone accepts or is truly ready for it.

Love and Invitation

• God's invitation is an act of unconditional love.

• He desires all to be saved and extends the invitation to everyone.

• The invitation itself is a manifestation of God's grace.

Excuses and Priorities

• Rejecting the invitation due to excuses demonstrates a misplaced priorities.

• Matthew 6:33 ("Seek first the kingdom of God") and Luke 12:34 emphasize the importance of prioritizing God above all else.

• Luke 10:38-42 (Martha and Mary): Illustrates the importance of prioritizing one's relationship with Jesus above even good deeds.

Consequences of Rejecting the Invitation

• There are consequences for those who ignore or reject God's invitation.

• This emphasizes the importance of accepting salvation when it is offered.

"Tinawag" (Called) vs. "Pinili" (Chosen)

• "Called" refers to the general invitation extended to all.

• "Chosen" refers to those who accept the invitation, live according to God's will, and are thus selected to enter His Kingdom.

• Being "called" does not guarantee being "chosen;" one must respond to the call with faith and a changed life.

God bless us all as always, in all ways!

See you next Sunday kakabsat!
