lf to Jesus Christ the Lifegiver Ministries, and recently to Jesus Christ the Lifegiver Church International. Lifegiver Church has been continuously growing since then. It has established 31 churches and 50 satellites with more than 4,000 members all around the Philippines and even in neighboring countries. One of which is Lifegiver Kamias which is headed by Bishop Manny Santiago and his wife, Pastor Helen and his four daughters, Faythe, Lovely, Keeneth and Mitchelle. Lifegiver San Mateo is one of the branches of Jesus Christ the Lifegiver Church International and was established in April 2024, headed by Pastor Yvonne Romero, with the vision to reach out to all the people in the Province of Rizal in San Mateo through loving God, loving people, and making disciples. Disenyo ng Diyos ang pamilya. Maaaring walang perpektong pamilya, pero maaari tayong magkaroon ng maayos na pamilya.

Ang ugat ng isang sirang pamilya ay kadalasang nagmumula sa kasalanan—at walang sinuman sa atin ang exempted dito.

Kahit si David, na tinawag na “a man after God’s own heart,” ay nagkamali rin at nakaranas ng kaguluhan sa kanyang pamilya (2 Sam. 11:1–5; 12:7–12).

Pero hindi hinayaan ni David na manatili na lamang sa ganoong kalagayan ang kanyang buhay at pamilya. Sa Psalm 51, makikita natin ang tatlong responses ni David na maaari rin nating sundan:

1. Acknowledge our sins — Aminin natin ang ating mga kasalanan.
2. Ask for forgiveness — Humingi tayo ng tawad sa Diyos at sa mga taong nasaktan natin.
3. Abide in Christ — Manatili at muling kumapit kay Kristo.

Church, may kalayaang at kagalingang maaaring maranasan ang ating pamilya kapag nagsimula tayo sa pag-amin ng ating kasalanan, paghingi ng tawad, at muling pag-abide kay Kristo!

DON’T LET ANGER SPEAK LOUDER THAN LOVE.

In James 1:19–20, we are reminded that the way we listen, speak, and respond can either bring our family closer or create distance. Minsan mahal na mahal natin ang pamilya natin, pero sa isang moment ng galit, words can come out that hurt more than we intended.

Minsan gusto nating maintindihan tayo, pero nakakalimutan nating makinig. Gusto nating maipaliwanag ang side natin, pero nauuna ang emotions. Kaya sa halip na mas magkaintindihan, mas lalo tayong nagkakaroon ng distance.

Hindi naman kailangang pare-pareho tayo para magkaroon ng peace sa bahay. May misunderstandings, may differences, at may moments na hindi tayo magkakasundo. Pero pwede nating piliing huminto, makinig, at magbigay ng grace bago tayo magsalita.

Church, let’s be intentional with the way we love our families. Sana sa tahanan natin, mas piliin nating makinig kaysa sumagot, umunawa kaysa manghusga, at magbigay ng grace kaysa magpadala sa galit. Let our homes be a place where the love of Jesus can truly be felt.

The clearest evidence of what we treasure is what we refuse to surrender.

In Mark 10:17–22, Jesus met a rich young man who had everything materially, but lacked what mattered eternally. He was willing to follow Jesus, until following Him required surrendering the one thing he was unwilling to give.

We can run toward Jesus with our feet, yet still fail to truly pursue Him with our heart. Following Jesus is not about giving Jesus a portion of your life, but allowing Jesus to have the authority to redefine the whole of your life. It is also about learning to prioritize Him above our possessions, ambitions, comfort, and plans. True discipleship asks not, “What can I give Jesus?” but, “What am I still unwilling to surrender to Him?”

Moreover, following Jesus requires us not only to surrender, but to faithfully proceed — to trust Him enough to leave behind whatever keeps us from fully obeying Him.

Church, our blessings and seasons may change, but our pursuit and priority must always remain Jesus!
