GOOD SHEPHERD SUNDAY| If we want to live a full and meaningful life, the best thing to do is to listen to the voice of the Good Shepherd, who is Jesus. The voice of the Shepherd may be quiet, but it is persistent. It calls us to something greater than ourselves.
The Church needs shepherds—priests, religious men and women, missionaries—but also committed lay people, parents, teachers, and leaders who reflect Christ’s care. A vocation is not only about becoming a priest or a nun; it is about discovering God’s call in your life and responding generously.
This Sunday, our Assistant Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Miguel "Mike" C. Cabrera, Jr., gave a beautiful reminder to his parishioners:
“Jesus is not a distant leader—He is close to us, His desire is not just that we survive, but that we live a full and meaningful life.”
